    News Membership Magic Beyond

I can't imagine a large percentage of DVC members are annual pass members. So this deal is good for anybody that is DVC and not annual pass. The deal is obviously aimed at people who are not annual pass members, the magic maker is being just one example showing that is true of disney's motivation.

I guess I am missing why people find absolutely no value in this. If you plan to buy memory maker for your next trip, this would cost less to buy this rather than memory maker.

    Moana 2 (Disney Animation - November 2024)

As a note - based on inflation, the price of movie tickets is actually lower today than in 2019 (only by $0.05, but still - source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1400207/average-ticket-price-movie-theater-us/#:~:text=Ticket price at U.S. movie theaters 1971-2022&text=According to a recent...

    Moana 2 (Disney Animation - November 2024)

I know anecdotal stories mean little...but my son had his birthday party this weekend. Moana 2 came up a few times from several people. What gets me is the varying people that are talking about it. I would be shocked if Moana 2 doesn't make huge money. The box office is hard to predict, with...

    Price hike coming 10/9

I can't speak for other areas you make park, but Florida law does require a sales tax on valet parking. Disney doesn't profit on the sales tax.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

Put me in the camp that I would be shocked if it doesn't beat Barbie at this point. While some may not find this that interesting, as someone that has always watched the box office numbers I do find this interesting and something I have been tracking. After this weekend one would expect it to...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

While I agree with a lot of what you said, this part is definitely not true. While there is a lot of people (especially on the message boards) that are always calling for its removal, there is a lot of people that will also be upset when they remove this attraction. It will go both ways here...

News Blizzard Beach reopening early November 2024

I don't see this as true. You can get flights into Orlando from Maryland before 9 am, from Connecticut before 10 am, from Dallas before 10 am just to name a few. Any of these flights you could make it to the water parks easily before noon. Many of our trips we have traveled on the early...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

I know a chart has been posted a few times on here that showed quite a different story then that. Also remarks that this number was not changing with the DisneyForward project. I think this info was in the DisneyForward thread.

    New themed pavement in Adventureland?

Never had issues with an ECV or stroller in Animal Kingdom so not sure why it suddenly becomes a problem here?

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Count me as someone who enjoyed the movie, and think it has good potential for HS. But have it go to AK and I begin to hate the idea. I think many of us are in the same category, and even fear wanting Zootopia somehow will translate to (more) of it at Animal Kingdom.

    Inside Out 2

I was responding to your comment "its pretty much made the money its going to make now" which isn't true. I get where you were going, but it is misleading. It is still doing very well in theaters and making good money.
