    News Disney’s Q3 FY25 Earnings Results Webcast

Yeah I have no idea. That being said it's still extremely profitable (not as much as 10-15 years ago), I do remain skeptical that the sports only streaming service can be successful, it's gonna be reliant on the bundle deals.

    News Disney’s Q3 FY25 Earnings Results Webcast

Again, company is proving to be pretty strong and resilient. Impressive parks numbers in the face of declining international travel and a lot more economic anxiety. The deals have probably helped, although there is still room to raise prices. The ESPN streaming announcements this past week have...

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I live in a small, rural city (30k-ish population) and we have multiple successful places that sell sushi. I use that as a barometer for the average American taste since the area is pretty provincial. Japanese food is very much apart of mainstream US food culture.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Is that just for Villains or the both Cars & Villains combined? I assumed Villains had a coaster and an E-ticket.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Villains getting an attached hotel makes a lot of sense. As long as it's a traditional hotel (a/k/a not Starcruiser), it will make bank.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

TT being open should spread some of the demand out on Tier 1. Epcot does have some obvious LL problems with the lack of top end attractions for the LLMP though, which is why Remy and Frozen go so quickly.

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Velocicoaster (which I have ridden) and Stardust Racers (which I have not ridden yet) are two of the absolute most intense roller coasters in the world (Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa maybe THE most intene for another FL coaster). I don't expect Disney to go that far, but I think it is time...

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

It's likely gonna be a Vekoma or Mack (maybe Intamin but I doubt it, that's too intense for Disney). Those are glass smooth nowadays unlike an older B&M (like Hulk) or an older Vekoma (like RnRC). An inversion or two would be great. Think it is quite unlikely it is another suspended coaster...

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I would assume it's kinda like those rides where a POV of the ride experience looks a lot worse than actually experiencing the thing.

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Almost certain that Vekoma will be the one doing the suspended door coaster. I would guess it will likely be Vekoma doing the coaster here, but I'm guessing not another suspended coaster.

DHS What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

I see them continuing the building spree the for the first 5 years of the 2030s. Essentially 3 major projects (lands/attractions) every 24 months. AC is the fairly obvious next spot to tackle for DHS. Though to be honest, the continued spending depends on the new CEO. If it's someone that is...

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I will disagree on saying this is too immense. Muppets Courtyard is essentially a mini-land being rethemed, and now the addition is an extra courtyard with a play area and the show building for a roller coaster. Don't think they are really blowing this out.

EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

Looks fantastic. Honestly looks like one of the best ride re-dos they have ever done.

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Just to show the scale (not the same building shape nor the likely final location of the AC proposal), this is how much space a 103k sq ft building using the Animation Courtyard space would looks like.

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Makes sense. Coasters need lots of room, but still wild the scale of what will be an average sized coaster vs. a massive dark ride.

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

I don't know about never, but I don't really see the actual value it would bring to the resort at this point. Plenty of holes to fill in the existing parks. Much more likely DLR gets a third gate of some kind before WDW gets a fifth gate.

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

Yeah, it's all about optionality. It's much easier to move forward with the creation of a new park when you already have land-use approval, even if there are no plans to open one anytime soon.

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

My wife is a very tough critic of zoos and theme parks with animal focus. I was a little worried to bring her to AK for the first time. She loved it though. Disney does a pretty great job with animal welfare it seems. She even was in awe of the AKL preserves when we went there for dinner.

EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

This actually looks pretty great. I enjoy 2.0 well enough, but TT could easily shoot up the rankings into a top-tier ride with the retheme if the rest of the attraction is on this level.

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Play areas are always good. Would have been bad to have lost one that isn't replaced. Don't expect it to measure up to the Boneyard, but it appears to be pretty sizable on @lentesta 's map.
