I gotta be completely honest-I don't really feel like the Speedway should be removed. I wouldn't really mourn it if it was, but I have no active interest in it being gone. I just wanted to see how many of the people who are advocating for the whole ROA/TSI replacement in that thread would reply...

Space Mountain is overrated and not a great coaster. The Speedway should be replaced with an E ticket dark ride. Disney churros are not great and are more of a pastry than actual churros. I'd rather have a traditional churro that tastes 1000% better. The version of POTC with the movie...

Unfortunately, I don't think there's an accurate resource for ridership numbers as compared to actual capacity, unless someone else can point me to it. But, my point is that replacing the Speedway with one E-ticket ride, or a couple of smaller attractions, would create more capacity for that...

Agreed. People call TSI/ROA underutilized space, but TS definitely is. It's not unique and the kind of attraction you can find at alot of amusement/theme parks. Plus, it's kind of noisy and the smell of gas/exhaust is almost overwhelming. That space could fit two attractions that would be bigger...

I agree. But for anyone to infer that the only people that are making stuff up and attacking others are people that don't like a change is simply not true. everyone in this forum should be able to have a civil debate about this stuff, and not engage in schoolyard antics.

Do you consider any criticism of changes to be baseless? For every person here that automatically hates any change that is made, there is a person who will mock and belittle anyone who doesn't step in line and love every change. It goes both ways here.

Greenfield Village is somewhat local to me, but I never went until about 8-9 years ago, and I immediately got a Disneyland vibe when I walked in the front gates. I found out shortly after that how much Walt liked it and was part of his inspiration for Disneyland.

Ripping out classic attractions to replace them with something mediocre is just one of numerous reasons why I probably won't be back to WDW, and cost is certainly at the top of the list.
