    Pre-Trip Room share anyone?

It's funny that you mention the travel ban because I recently had a conversation with a fellow Disney fanatic and we both agreed that WDW is a world of it's own and is completely exempt from any US ban, lol. I agree that politics should be checked at the welcome sign. :) PS, is that tonga toast...

Pictures in the same spot as they grow.....

We always try to visit the Cars on our trips to WDW. The first picture was taken in 2013.

Taking a 4 month old to Disney

Congrats! The first time we brought our youngest to WDW he was 5 months old. We brought the stroller and the carrier (Baby Bjorn) and I found that we used the carrier the most. We never found it bothersome to carry him around. We were there late October/early November and it wasn't too hot. As...

    Best Mickey Character Breakfast?

Chef Mickey's is our favourite. We also really enjoyed Cape May, but Mickey is not there. When we went to Cape May we had an early reservation and it was quiet enough that Minnie pulled up a chair to sit with us for a bit. The food quality is great at both places.

    Favorite deluxe resort

We've stayed at the AKL and the Boardwalk. We are in the minority in that we did not like the AKL. We absolutely LOVED the Boardwalk. We would love to try the Poly one day, and also the Beach Club! Our absolute favourite resort though is Fort Wilderness, where we stay in the cabins.

    Flame Tree BBQ - beware!

Is it also listed as being nut free on the allergy menu? My son has several allergies and we don't bother looking at the regular menu. We always ask for the allergy menu and order off of that.

    Recent Reviews of Skipper Canteen

My husband and I ate there a month ago, he is an adventurous eater, I am not, and we both LOVED it. My husband ordered the lamb and at the end of the trip declared it to be his favourite meal from the trip. I had the noodle bowl with chicken and still find myself thinking about it. :)

    Boardwalk Renovations Jan 2017?

We stayed at the Boardwalk last month and didn't really notice any of the renovations that were going on. So I would say that they are not intrusive! We were at the Inn and not the villas.

Mickey's Christmas Party- Is it worth it?

We've gone to the party the past two years and I absolutely think it's worth it. With smaller crowds, we get much more done during the party than during a regular day at the MK, and we usually leave by 9pm (we have young kids).

Rooms with Bunk Beds and Trundles....

The cabins at FW have bunk beds and a queen bed in the bedroom, and then there is a pull out sofa (that I find very comfortable) in the living room. If it works for your budget it's a great resort. Having a full cabin gives everyone breathing room.

    Chip n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long

It's definitely worth a trip over to FW to go to the camp fire! It's a good way to meet Chip and Dale without the big crowds and lines that you get at the parks. Going to the camp fire every night helped my son overcome his fear of the characters.

I NEED SOME HELP FROM MY FRIENDS...

I love going to MNSSHP simply because we can get a lot done in a short period of time with little to no lines. Two years ago we were a group of 16 with 7 kids ranging from 5 months to 14 years old and none of them seemed to care that we were skipping all of the trick or treating lines. We were...

Disney to Give Out Free Insect Repellent to Fight Zika Virus

Does Florida have mosquitos around all year or just in the summer?

Just looking for thoughts/experiences at these restaurants

Of the 3 we've only been to Sanaa, and loved it. My kids loved watching the animals. As others have mentioned the bread service with all those dips is amazing (I still crave the roasted garlic!). My kids were 1 and 3 when we went and both enjoyed it.

Who else listens to MK entrance music? LOL

Where can you get all this fantastic music? iTunes? Is there anything from Fort Wilderness? I need to add all of this to my Disney playlist.

Is Be Our Guest REALLY worth it?

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie, so for me it would be worth is the give up the extended hours- actually I've made that sacrifice before with no regrets. We've only been there for dinner and it was the only restaurant where we all ate every last bite of our meal (we all had the...

    Zika Impact

Back in '03 when SARS hit Toronto the entire Canadian tourism industry took a hit. People scan headlines, see 'Zika + Florida' and make a decision based on that without reading the details.

    Zika Impact

Unfortunately people tend to generalize and not look at maps. I saw someone post an article on FB about Zika in Miami and their comment was "So I guess no traveling to Florida any time soon".

    Zika Impact

I agree, I would have expected them to at least acknowledge the concern, and then remind travellers that they stay on top of pest control and like you said, bug repellant is widely available on property.
