    Monorail Closure Question

I've read some conflicting information regarding the monorail schedule. Will the monorail be closed on Wed/Thu in April from 1130am to 6pm? Or was this just through late March?

WDW Railroad closing for a short period in April

Ugh...right in the middle of our trip. That's a bummer if true. Although at least we got Big Thunder back for our trip. :) Curious to see how this affects crowds. I had the RR built into our plans on a few occasions. Does this also mean no Casey Jr. for the Welcome Show??

Mattress quality in Disney resort rooms

I believe they just replaced the mattresses at Wilderness Lodge in early 2015. We found them to be very comfortable when we were there in May.

    wishes from wilderness lodge

I want to echo this! We were in a standard view room, 5050, last May. While there is a service area down below, we could see Wishes very nicely each night. Our kids thought it was such a treat!

Value resorts vs. moderate vs. Deluxe.

Certainly nothing wrong with that if that works for your family. :) The big lure of WL is that we can typically get a real good deal (not too much more than a moderate) and have the convenience to MK. With kids, it is a blessing to either only have a 5 minute bus ride or 10 minute boat ride to...

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

It was during the 24 hour party in May 2015.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

We used a FP for Wishes and had plenty of space. There was no jamming of people in the FP area. It was very comfortable. Outside of the FP area was a herd the likes I had never personally seen. I felt so sorry for the CMs trying to manage that crowd. I had never been more thankful for a FP than...

Value resorts vs. moderate vs. Deluxe.

We stayed at a moderate (Port Orleans Riverside) 2 years ago and Wilderness Lodge last year. I have to say the lodge completely spoiled us, mainly because of it's convenient access to MK at a more reasonable price point (compared to other deluxes) since we spend most of our time there. We could...

    Fastpass for MK Fireworks

We did it during the 24 hour party last May. It was completely worth it. While the mob fought for space, we had a nice comfortable location and thoroughly enjoyed the show. So I say if you are going at a busy time, it is definitely worth considering.

    BTMRR Refurb This Spring?

Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound good for our likely April 10-17 trip. It is my little boys favorite ride by far. We will keep our fingers crossed, but will be prepared for it to be down. I really appreciate you helping this OP get some answers about BTMRR. Later on, I might ask some...

    BTMRR Refurb This Spring?

Thanks everybody for the kind words and any information that you were able to share. I was so tempted to respond back and lash out, but it just wasn't worth it. I just truly hope that the poster doesn't really get that bent out of shape over such trivial matters in real life.

    BTMRR Refurb This Spring?

Wow, really?? The audacity of me to use a common abbreviation used on Disney forums all the time. I am glad you are so welcoming to somebody who just had a simple question. If you really don't know, you could have politely asked.

    BTMRR Refurb This Spring?

Has there been any news on if BTMRR will be down for refurb this spring, especially in April? I have read conflicting information.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

I imagine they are aiming to have the Partners statue unboxed by the time of the 24 hr party. Anybody with insight on that?
