Yeah I agree, but Disney has to do something with the beyond AC space at some point. Launch Bay and a bunch of aging office spaces/warehouses can't be the future they envision for that side of the park.

Not putting words in mouth, but I think they meant new attractions period, not new IP content. Disney isn't going to allow a park to be built with its brand if it's not full of their IP.

If there are any resorts or restaurants associated with the park I'm sure they will serve. Any non-Muslim can drink in UAE in approved locations.

I don't know. I think even upper middle class is going to rethink extravagant vacation spending, or at least reduce the amount of trips taken. Expect a lot more special offers over the next couple of years, if things stay the current course.

First of all, the days of proactive decision-making at Disney are long gone, so this scenario seems unlikely. Second, the cost of materials needed to build is about to skyrocket, so working on anything not already in motion is going to get a lot more expensive, regardless of interest rates.

Of all the lengthy time-frames for new attractions, this one makes the least sense. The movie should already be in the can, it's just updating interiors to match it. No reason this should take longer than 2-3 months.

Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Felix the Cat... whatever it takes to finally demo the office space and build up this side of the park. If they're doing this, my money is still on a Pixar IP - Incredibles or Inside Out.

Agreed. I am perturbed about losing the waterfront along Liberty Square. Would be more than happy to see the LB docked permanently on a small stretch of "river". I would shed no tears for the loss of TSI and the Old West motif. Give me a Frontierland focused on Rocky Mountain landscapes over...

Again, true. But the reality is the water is going away, and there's nothing to be done about it. There are 455 (and counting) pages in this thread bemoaning the loss of the water, with very little thought as to what could be done to make the best of it. This was an attempt.

It is of course, but the idea is that the Old West portion of Frontierland between LS and CBJ without the river is kind of out of place. So the whole path could be rethemed to represent primarily Eastern/Southern U.S., then BTM and Carsland is Western.
