    WDW Pet Peeves

As Frank Costanza said during his family's celebration of "Festivus", now is the time for the airing of grievances. Even the greatest vacation spot in the world isn't perfect and can have aspects that just make you want to pull your hair out. Time to list them. To get started, some things on...

    ABC goes to Disney World

I think we're all well aware that the ABC network is closely affiliated with the Disney Company, but am I the only one who gets a little annoyed when ABC shows go on location in Disney World? I love the fact that they're there because we get to see some good shots of the parks and attractions...

Any Universal-type attractions you'd like to see in WDW?

Walt Disney World is, by far, the superior theme park complex in Florida....but, admittedly, some of the attractions are a little lacking in comparison to some Universal Studios attractions. Are there any types of Universal attractions you'd like to see in WDW? I don't mean taking The Incredible...

    Ever wonder...?

Ever have questions about any of the parks that you may not have voiced but are still pretty curious about? For example, I'd like to know how the Haunted Mansion is supposed to fit into Liberty Square? I never understood the theming there. The same applies to the Tomorrowland Speedway. What in...

    The Future of WDW

Where do you think the future of WDW lies? I mean, we hear now and again of new attractions being made, some as replacements for older ones, but by and large we're not really given a sense of what to expect in its future. Is there going to be much more expansion, a significant updating or change...

Travel Channel Special on Animal Kingdom.....on RIGHT NOW

Right now, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm EST, the Travel Channel is doing a special on Disney's Animal Kingdom park. Just an FYI since I hadn't seen any mention of this earlier. Thanks.

    Visiting the Parks.....Plan or Wander?

When you head out to the parks on your stay in WDW, do you usually have a set plan or pattern for making your way around or do you just wander the park taking in whatever you feel like? In my case, I usually decide which things I feel I need to do immediately and come back to the ones I...

    Where are the touchscreens?

Back in '93 when I visited WDW, I remember walking through Epcot and in one section, near Spaceship Earth, they had an area where people could make their dinner reservations through talking to an operator over a touchscreen monitor/video session. Since the inclusion of Innoventions to Epcot...

    Disney's Amusement Park Attractions

Since Disney likes to take basic amusement park rides and add their own style to it (i.e. rides like Mad Hatter TeaCups, Dumbo or even Aladdin's Flying Carpets where it's a basic 'fly in a circle' type), don't you think they could at least take some of the better amusment park rides such as...

    Pay at WDW

Without getting into any ONE person's exact details, what kind of pay range could one expect to be in if they got a job at WDW doing any of the following (since I hear the pay isn't the best at WDW): Ride Operator Costumed Disney Character Monorail Driver Ferry Captain

New Resorts or Improve the Parks?

It seems to me that it would be more in Disney's best interests to make improvements to its theme parks (i.e. renovate Fantasyland, renovate The Living Seas, add more rides to Animal Kingdom, etc, etc..) than to focus on adding more resorts to the property. Does anyone else think so?

Which MK land needs major refurbishment next?

Since the long-needed and impressive renovation of Tomorrowland went off well several years ago, it makes me wonder if a refurbishment of any other lands might be in order. Personally, I think Fantasyland definitely needs some work. Which lands, if any, do you think need to be re-done?

    Hide & Seek in WDW

Say somehow you have the run of all 4 theme parks with about 20-25 of your friends. All the crowds are gone and you guys decide to play a game of super hide & seek. (I call it "super" because you all know how large these parks are.) If you're playing in only one park at a time, where do you...

    Love/Hate Feelings for WDW Attractions

Who has particularly strong feelings (either love or hate) for any particular WDW attractions and why? Love - (1) Tower of Terror: It's just such a great ride, I have to ride it each time I'm there. Awesome theming, lots of fun to ride. (2) Tomorrowland Transit Authority: Very...
