    When and why did MK get rid of evening xtra magic hours on Fridays? Are we likely to get the back?

    Thanks for the replies. We've gone to Disney in '08, '09, '10, and '11 (skipped '12) and are going this summer. Each of the years we went, we got to WDW on Sat, went to MK on Sunday - open till 3:00 a.m. (Mon morning), and left on the following Sat, after closing down MK at 3:00 a.m. Friday...

    When and why did MK get rid of evening xtra magic hours on Fridays? Are we likely to get the back?

    For the past 5 years, since at least the summer of 2008, MK had xtra evening magic hours on Fridays - staying open until 3:00 a.m. This is apparently no more, much to my chagrine as we are going this July. Any insights? Is there any hope of these returning? Have a good one!
