Is the bypass section of track (at the mid point of Main Street) still in existence? If not, it certainly hinders the efficient operation of two trolleys at any one time....although a long time trolley conductor said that there is essentially only one trolley in any condition to bring out.

I've seen it, too....it's a bit "cartoony" to me. While it may be technically advanced over the DHS version, I find the latter to be a bit more menacing.

....just that hibernating bears might not be hibernating at this time next year.

They've given the blank wall a clapboard treatment. Blends in much better. The rest of the bypass has the same type of work. At night, behind the trees, you almost can't tell that it's just a rudimentary dressing of the walls. Overall, while not the Paris arcades, it's acceptable. Tonight...

With the addition of a few trees, to the right of the faux facade and a bunch more to the left, you've got a far better sightline than anything that has existed before.

While they may point at the Magic Kingdom walkways, and may be used to light those routes at night (in white mode), it is also theatrical lighting-as they are able to change colors, etc....I saw them in use. Unlike DL's old style par cans (with colored gels over the bulb), the new MK lighting...

I'm just glad I was there when we heard what we heard.......that is, unless you heard more than I heard.

I've heard that we're all going to be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the refurb.....so I'm really looking forward to seeing it in October.

Actually only the small section between the Adventureland walkway and the Liberty Square walkway has yet to be finished (and it very well could be done, as we speak.) It looked very close to being finished as of 10 days ago.
