What's going on with the boats to the parks?

Are the boats out of service, or just some of them? And which ones? I read that the boat from BC to HS is not in service for something like six weeks? Does anyone know when it's due to be back in service? I also read that a bridge is being repaired, so it's not the boat, but the bridge. And...

How can you check for last minute FP changes when you already have three booked?

It shows me the times when I already have FP's booked, but they're outlined in black and it won't allow me to click on those to book. But I can see the times available.

How can you check for last minute FP changes when you already have three booked?

I know, but that takes a few extra minutes. I'm trying to search many times a day in the hope that one opens up. I will do it that way, if I have to, but I was hoping there might be a "secret" way in that I was unaware of as a noob.

Should I get a bunk bed room at AKL?

I'm so wishy-washy. My neighbor is going to BC, and I decided it sounded much easier, and less stressful, to be in walking distance of two parks. So I cancelled my AKL room and went with a BC room.

How can you check for last minute FP changes when you already have three booked?

I'm trying to book an FP for Flights of Passage at AK for mid-June, but of course all of the FPs are already taken. I have three booked already, but one is a throwaway I want to replace with Flights of Passage if it becomes available. I have the throwaway booked because it's a mid-morning FP and...

Should I get a bunk bed room at AKL?

thanks. I'm still reeling myself, and he was my ex. I talk about it too much, but I'm just blown away by how fast life changes. I appreciate your feedback on the rooms. I saw Magical Vacation Travel listed in the unofficial guide to WDW. I'll look into it.

Should I get a bunk bed room at AKL?

I've made my reservation for two nights at WL and three nights at AKL. It's for my husband and myself and our 10-year-old son. I'm trying to make this trip extra special for my son because his dad (my ex-husband) just died five weeks ago. It was supposed to be a biz trip, but I changed it to a...

Brand new to FP, how do I pick rides for the parks?

I've never been to Disney World, and, therefore, I've never used Fast Passes. I've been reading up and understand the concept, but I don't know how to figure out the rides that are most worth using up my FP's on. My husband and 10-year-old son will be at Disney in early- to mid-June, so it will...

New to Disney World resorts - how to choose?

Now I'm starting to doubt myself. I booked AKL last night for the last three nights of our trip, but I'm wondering if BC, YC or BW would be better since they're walking distance from Epcot and DS. (is that right?) We will spend one day at AK as well, so i dunno...

    Tomorrowland fireworks dessert party

Yikes, I realized it's $70 a person, so I'm going to skip it. It sounds like fun, tho!

What are the best rides for a 10-year-old boy?

I totally understand, Po'Rich. I'm not going to force my son on any ride that he's scared of, so I'd rather skip the initial FP reservation on something he really is going to freak out about. I did that once, too, when he was six. His older cousins were visiting and I convinced him to do the log...

Need help with itinerary - first time visitor to WDW

Quick question - can we get early entry hours for the day we check into our hotel, or only for the following day/s? I ended up changing it around a bit. I looked at magic hours, etc, and where we were staying each night. I ended up booking our second Disney hotel for the final three nights of...

New to Disney World resorts - how to choose?

Okay, I picked my second resort thanks to everyone's help. Our first two nights will be at the Wilderness Lodge, as planned, and then our final three nights, after the business segment of my trip, will be at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I opted for the cheapest room but was happy that it was only...

We have five days. How many at each park?

ah, we don't get that option on this trip. We are going in six weeks. I usually plan much farther in advance. This was originally supposed to be a work trip for me, but then my son's dad (my ex) died a month ago. I thought the trip to Disney would be something to cheer him up. So my husband is...

What are the best rides for a 10-year-old boy?

Very cool. Thanks for all the info! And yes, he should be tall enough for pretty much everything. He's 57 inches tall, 58 inches tall with his sneakers on.

what is an ADR? I googled it. the best I could come up with was advanced dining reservations. we will be staying at a disney resort, if it ties into that at all.
