We've never been there when a soft opening was going on.. When shows do 'soft openings', how do people in the park know it is going on? Is it on the daily schedule, or is it just open? We'll be there in early March, what are the chances a 'soft opening' will be going on then?

Try getting 2 parties of 4 at the same (or similar) time.. At a 'find your own table' place like BoG, it is less of a hassle to get seats together than at the usual types of places that you need the ADRs for..

The phones aren't as bad as the iPads.. just leave them home. or.. if you have to have them with you.. leave them in the hotel.. there is no reason to bring them into the parks.. Not worth the risk to have something happen to them..

The new ones (the one for this coming trip) are not on the MB page.. it shows the ones we got for the trip we were supposed to take in September.. and all the other ones from previous trips.

We've never stayed at the Poly, but will be in March. We have a week scheduled for a lakeview studio. What kinds of options for room requests will we have when the online check in window opens up, and what do you recommend? Looking forward to the trip! :)

We did the opposite a few years ago.. before they started keeping the park open later.. we had an ADR for 6p, on a night when the park closed at 6. We had a rare (at the time) chance to get a look at the tree all lit up as we walked out of the park after dusk. It was pretty cool!

Trails End is a nice boat ride from MK and a nice comfort food buffet. If you are seafood lovers, Cape May is a great buffet at Beach Club Resort. Liberty Tree Tavern (MK) is a family favorite. Boma (AKL) is a great option for breakfast or dinner. There is lots of new things to try, but...
