Doom with a twist. In the universe where RDJ is Doom, Tom Cruise must be Stark.

There are so many people that could have been cast as Doom such as Cillian Murphy and Adam Driver that there is a very specific reason they have RDJ in that role. It is clearly based somehow on the multiverse. We'll see how it plays out but they didn't just cast RDJ "because".

Pretty good finale despite a meh series. To me, the finale itself warrants a season 2 even if I didn't see the need coming. With Yoda and Plagueis teased, there becomes a need to continue, but they can flash forward if they wanted to a bit.

Or are all featured in the parade Universal properties?

Is Universal going to reboot, reinstate their monsters cinematic universe to coincide with EU/DU? I see there's a Wolfman movie in 2025 and James Wan is also supposedly doing a Frankenstein movie. If done well, I can see the Frankenstein movie doing VERY well.

I'm guessing DM4 will make in the $300 millions domestically and has a crack at $1 billion WW.

Incredibles 2 is toast (domestically) and IO2 looks to have a good solid chance at overcoming Barbie's domestic total. WW, it will probably end up between $1.3-$1.4 billion.

The ride may surpass all, but the French wizarding world will likely underwhelm. There's not a whole lot to attach it to that is familiar.

So with Dark Universe having its reveal this week, we should expect Wizarding World's reveal next month.

Disney already has Moana 2 (Nov, '24), Zootopia 2 (Nov, '25), Toy Story 5 (June '26) and Frozen 3 (Nov, '26). I bet Encanto 2 and Incredibles 3 will be fast tracked for after those.

Biggest Disney movie since Rise of Skywalker and enormously more acclaimed. The movie made $155 million and will likely make well past $400 million domestic and possibly be the first Disney film in 5 years to make a billion worldwide.

I thought this episode was pretty good. It was like an Anakin story better told. Not sure why there's any controversy at all.

For the Wizarding World, I wonder what music they will play? Will they stick with the familiar and recognizable music from the 8 HP films, or will they play the largely unrecognizable Fanstastic Beasts music that nobody knows?

Agreed-it seems like it will be more of a France replica with some wizarding world touches unlike the other two WW's which are straight replicas from the movies. But it will still be cool and I am guessing the cue for the ministry ride will be the ministry itself which should be fantastic.

The Acolyte, at worst, is adequate with clunky dialogue. The story may not be flashy, but it is enough to be somewhat original. It may be meh to some but to others it may be better than that or a little worse than that. Does it feel like it deserves a 28% audience score? Absolutely not. Maybe...
