We've never done afternoon breaks anywhere.. If the kid is sleepy they go in the stroller and sleep... Of course we've never stayed on-site anywhere either. We've been to Florida before (Sea World parks) It just seems to me a waste of time and a hassle.. And our kids have never complained So...

Yea the Florida heat can dehydrate you quick , especially if your not used to it. Hopefully they will listen to your advice so they don't end up miserable..

That actually seems about par for any major theme park.... And as far as price gouging ,Disney is not guilty of this. If you don't want to pay for something don't pay for it. Your willingness is not Disney's fault.

We've been to Orlando area in early July Before so I know what to expect as far as weather. Hot and humid, short storms. Al though one day on our trip is listed as tstorms all day.

Well we have all 11 days to go until we leave. Most everything is done, but as I said before we still feel unprepared, and probably will until we leave. Extended forecast for the 14-20 looks decent enough..minus a few days where the weather may get a big rough.
