Being from NJ, I wait until the weekend that everyone from here is leaving before going. We always know too many people going the week before - plus airfare is tripled for Jersey Week. I paid $159 RT this year for the Sat to Thurs after, and to go the week before it was about $500.

5 years ago I went the week of MLK (that was on Monday) and we arrived on Tuesday. Crowds were very small. Everything was walk-on. Only thing was it did get extremely cold for Floriday that week. We broke cold records 4 out of th 6 days were there.
