Yep, we just got back and saw the parade three times. The floats looked great to me. No burnt out bulbs, and sound was loud and clear.

I agree that renting points is the way to go. We jut got back from staying at a savannah view at AKL, and it came out to $175 a night.

You may want to consider renting DVC points from a member anyway. it is WAY WAY WAY cheaper than going through Disney and paying cash. I bet you could even buy the dining plan if you wanted and still come out ahead. We're doing that in February and got a studio villa at AKL with a Savannah...
