Relax. Yes, they could of done it with the old wifi too (and they do/did, that's beside the point)...but the faster and more reliable the connection, the more it encourages this. I also did say it was awesome. And finally, my post got more likes than yours. dannyboyindc out.

This is both awesome and worrisome. I truly hope it doesn't encourage people to constantly use their phones on dark rides or attractions to text/tweet/fb/hashbrown

I see what you're saying, didn't realize that! I thought all club level rooms were not savanna view. The idea of getting club level access with a savanna view though is awesome. I wonder if that's an option with DVC, or just luck of the draw.

Arusha view is a savanna view (which is awesome). Club level gets you access to their lounge which has free drinks and food (but the view is not of the savanna). I've never done club level, but waking up each morning to our savanna view is one of our favorite experiences of staying at AKL.

When I was kid we stayed in a villa (an original one). I remember it being a pretty cool experience. Anyone remember what resort they used to be tied to?

Theu must use odyssey for something on a regular basis. We were in there for beer tasting and its setup totally different than when it was a CS. There's a big permanent stage with nice sound and lighting. It almost looked like a nightclub

We're staying at BLT in September, but I admit the WL is a much more immersive resort. BLT is fairly standard looking inside and out. The location can't be beat though. Walking back to your room after wishes instead of dealing with transportation is a huge plus, and we love the Contemporary...

Just update the laptop, virtual reality game and get rid of the "laser discs" and "car phone" lines already!

It works for free. Cheaper than having a real band there, which is what they used to have on a regular basis. It's cute, but the old way was better I think. It would be neat to somehow make Sonny interactive...perhaps through a request system of some sort, or trivia.

Really? Maybe for private events, but I've never seen a band perform on that stage since when it was open to the public once they put Sonny in.

Back in my day (the early 90's), that stage used to have actual bands perform on it. I remember seeing Starship perform!

Exactly as it should be. I'll assume you really meant to call the "dinky night parade" "the last of a very few remaining original Disney treasures that should run until the Apocalypse kills us all. I for one will be watching the EWP when that happens."

We just saw it Sunday night. The show looked great, although I didn't notice any difference with the laser's brightness or usage from our last trip (or fireworks). It was the same show we always see.

Martin, thanks for posting this, ROE is looking fantastic! Great to see this show getting some love.

If I'd change anything, it would be to perhaps bring back the original music. Ideally, a variation each night would be epic. Did they actually add a boat for LM, or just change an existing character?
