One night stay before our trip

I always say the more time the merrier! I would book something at DTD or PORS and keep checking the Beach Club. I'm pretty sure they will move your bags for you from PORS to Beach Club. Plus with Magical Express, why would you need a cab?

    What would you do?

We have an unexpected trip planned this summer. We are visiting family in South Carolina and are going to do a side trip to WDW after we got a great rate at CSR. We were just there last summer and daughter hates major thrill rides (Everest, space, thunder) We will be there Sunday to Thursday...

    Early ADRs and transportation.

You will be able to get there. When I went in August, we had an 8:15 reservation in MK. We took the bus from the resort and they checked our ADR reservation number and lined us up at one of the turnstiles. We were then let in early. The monorails were running at that time too. We did the same...

    Coronado Springs Best Section?

I don't mind walking, but my daughter does at night returning home from the parks. Also, we are always rushing to get to the parks for rope drop so I want to be a few minutes from the bus stops. Lastly, its a pain to be going back and forth for coffee in the refillable mugs in the morning and to...

    Dinner Before Fantasmic

I would think in May you will be fine. Especially if there are two of you it will be easier to snag a seat (the question is where?) It stinks if you are going to be worried all through dinner about making the show. Some ideas: 1. show up for your ADR 15 minutes early and hope they take you...

    Coronado Springs Best Section?

We have never stayed at this resort (or any Moderate) so we are really excited about upgrading from our typical Value Resorts. We will be attending a convention so it has to be Coronado that we stay at. The resort looks HUGE and I don't know which section to request. I want a standard room that...

    Be Our Guest dining

I would really think about going at lunch. At $4 a cupcake plus drinks and tips it will be a pricey dessert.

    Our First Trip

It will be crowded so you need a plan. We always read and use the Unofficial Guide to WDW and follow the touring plans to a tee,, with being at the turnstiles at opening being the #1best tip. There are plenty of dining options both sit down and counter service. Some of my favorites are Ohana...

Tips for booking for the first time with young children?

Bringing your own stroller vs. renting one at Disney has its pros and cons. It depends on if you are going to rely on Disney transportation vs. your own car. If you rent one in the parks, that means the children have to walk or be carried to/from the buses as well as navigating through the...

Good God, can't they do this AFTER park hours?!!

It looks like one of them is watching the show!

Tips for booking for the first time with young children?

It is really dependent on your budget, the age of your children, and the time of year you are going. If you are going in the summer months, the heat is a big factor. It affects each person differently in terms of endurance in the parks. I have travelled with children ranging from 4 months - 12...

    rethinking my ADRs

Garden Grill is great! The adults in our party had a fairly relaxing meal and the kids were occupied by the constant interaction with characters. Chef Mickeys was hectic at breakfast and the food was just okay. If you have girls, Akerhaus Princess breakfast was the best character interaction we...

Choosing restaurants is just way too hard!

I suggest the following: Ohana (Must do for us) Be Our Guest ( the atmosphere alone is worth it) 50's Prime Time Cinderellas for breakfast before the park opens It is helpful if you have a schedule of what days you are planning to visit the parks (even if its the first day or two). Hopping to...
