MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

He is talking about the standby pass, not the premier access. We don't know how many capacity is allotted to DPA, but wait times haven't taken a hit yet in the last three days. Update: Added wait times for the 6th of august, second day that DPA has started. Notice how low the waiting times are...

New Premier Access Fast Pass and Club Level Rooms?

At this moment, no you don't get anything to replace the hotel fastpass. If you have facebook, try to send them a message there. I receive an answer within 12/24H most of the time.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

You are not paying for something that used to be free. Fastpass was a reservation system where you reserved a time, but everybody waited an equal amount of time. (Okay excluding the 60/90 window thing from WDW). What DPA offers is time, you are paying to wait less time and therefore be able to...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Nah thats the ticket books, and yes you did pay admission on top of the ticket book. Disneyland Paris used to have them when they offered a paid fastpass option next to the free fastpass (and they were included with suites and Disneyland Hotel club level rooms aswell). I guess Disney realised...

    Disneyland Paris Meal Plans

I assume that you are in a club level room then? From what I heard you get a discount on the meal plan prices with club rooms due to breakfast already being included. But give a call to Disney to be sure :).

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

There are three things that you seem to miss with your argument. They all seem to revolve around not realizing that fastpass was purely a psychological product to make people think that they were waiting less. The standby line were only long because 80% of the capacity would go to Fastpass. If...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

What do you expect that they do? Throw tomatoes at the by passing people? Boycot the park? I don’t see any of those scenarios happen. Disney has always been a place where the richer people have privileges, this is no different. If Parc Asterix, which is way more ‘france’ than Disney, already has...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

Brits are the ones who should be used to paid the line. Basically any major themepark in UK offers it: alton, thorpe, chessington, blackpool and legoland. Now that I think of, the only other two big themeparks that don’t offer skip the line passes as the Efteling and Europapark. Its really not...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

Phantasialand, Walibi, Parc Asterix? They all offer paid skip-the-line passes. Its not that uncommon as you make it look like. None of them purposely slow down the standby line to sell more passes, outside of the standard practices like using less trains during low season. The issue lays with...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

The opposite actually. Where 70% of the capacity would go to Fastpass normally, only 10/20% would go to premier access making the standby lines shorter. They had to price it at a higher point, otherwise everybody would buy it diminishing the point.

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

I believe this is the cancelled Little Mermaid flatride for Paris which was supposed to go into the spot below. The roof structure in the second concept art would be the structure that acts as the extended queue for Small world now. You can also see in the lower right corner that the concept...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Web Slinger is an excellent addition to Studios though, the park is relative thrill heavy with RC, TOT, RnRC and Crush's. Also unlike DCA we don't have Midway Mania in Paris. I guess they designed WEB slingers for Paris as an alternative for Midway Mania and just copied it over to DCA.

Big Thunder Mountain Paris 2021 tribute

Huh interesting thought, I thought the general consensus was that Paris is the second best castle park. Mostly due to its design and all the "plussed" versions of the overseas attractions. But the Paris version of BTM is without a doubt the best version out there, the tunnels are exaggerating...

    Castle Refurb in DL paris

July and August tend to fluctuate between 25/30 degrees celsius. Paris also doesn’t have a single water attraction, so you won’t gain anything from the heath 🤷🏻‍♂️. May/June would be the best time to go, before the summer vacation, heat and the park is open until eleven.

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

I saw a reviewer calling this a Tom Holland attraction instead of a Spiderman one. Sounds pretty accurate. The queue also mentions that you can extend both arms to pull stuff (objects/doors/levers). Depending on how much interactive objects there are it could give some great re-rideability.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Space Mountain in Paris? It did get significantly scaled down, but is still a remarkable ride. They should begin soon with the Avengers E-ticket in Hong Kong (they cleared more land recently). Man that one is a long stretch with 3 rides divided over approx 8 years by the time it opens. Does...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Disneyland Paris was already asking $150 for low season and $180 for high season for an unlimited fastpass. And they cover only 9 attractions. I don't see how $300 is outside of the realm of possibilities. The prices are on top of your entrance fee. They were sold in three formats: a single...
