The article is behind a paywall for me. So does this mean that we won't even be able to walk around the new land? I can understand the ride being delayed, but I was under the impression the land was pretty much complete months ago.

I really don't like the idea of staggered arriving times! Not a deal breaker but I would hate to have the first day back even shorter than what I am assuming is already shortened hours.

Now I'm curious to hear how and when the reservation system will open up. Will on-site guests get priority? I'm definitely going to try my luck for opening day but don't have very high expectations for getting that.

If I was living within an hour of DLR I would have happily paid $100 to just explore the park and really enjoy the details at this point. Where I think it is all ridiculous is the fact it has gone this far. Our theme parks should have opened with limited capacity months ago.

I read this a few times and it still doesn't make much sense. A person can only complain about the restrictions being put on theme parks if they bought tickets to taste of Disney? Or ate at the IHOP across the street?

Looking at that pdf again, it seems only theme parks have to worry about "time restrictions" indoors... Sacramento must really not like the theme park industry. I am pretty curious to find out what that actually means.

That's what I'm hoping for! I imagine since they've been open as a zoo there will be less time needed to open the rides.

I am actually seriously considering a move to Florida after all of this nonsense in California. I live in Santa Clara county currently though, which I believe has been the strictest county in the state.

No where says no indoor rides, only no indoor dining in the red tier.

Indoor attractions and queues are fine, just not indoor dining. Agree with the rest of the comment!

Anyone remember when the Santa Cruz Boardwalk was able to open for only a single weekend last year? I really hope nothing like that happens again...

So hard to believe I was at WDW in July last year, and only now finally getting news on local California parks. Better late than never!

WDW didn't restrict out-of-state visitors when they opened.
