I think they wanted to open the Avengers ride along with the land but they have had to go back to the drawing board a couple times. One order was to go bigger and the second to increase capacity. My understanding.

With everything they are doing in Orlando, plus the massive expansion in Paris, I don’t see them putting the resources/capital into a true Tomorrowland overhaul for quite a few years. I think MMRR and Avengers Phase 2 will be next up for DLR.

Yes for sure it is. I’m speaking on “hope” of what could be. If there is no mention of the Avengers e ticket I’ll be fairly disappointed, but I think the signs, from rumors to the concept art and locations of certain things within that concept art point to an expansion behind MB. Or maybe not!?!?

DLR fans better hope you’re right! Because if GE opens at Hollywood Studios to huge crowds and long lines the discussion is going to shift very quickly from what’s wrong with GE, to what wrong in Anaheim, particularly internally. That will be TERRIBLE for DLR.

No it’s not bad. I feel the same way. To me it comes off a little Six Flagish and cheap. Love the Spidey ride however. To me this all boils down to the Marvel coaster. If it is truly coming, then I’m on board with this ride as a family friendly attraction. Spider-Man is the perfect choice...

We ride everything at DLR and WDW except Matterhorn and Goofys Sky School. My wife, 6 and 10 year old all refuse to ride those anymore.

Agreed, the exterior show building is atrocious. How about the Ratatouille show building? I’m asking seriously because I haven’t seen any progress work on that attraction,

I strongly disagree with virtually every word in this post. There were a couple truths in there but for the most part completely negative spin. IMHO

No because they would have done something bigger and bolder in Orlando. I’m holding out hope for the Avengers coaster. If that’s awesome, then this could actually end up being a nice family attraction for the whole crew. The Avengers coaster will have a height limit like Rockin Rollercoaster.
