I absolutely agree with you .I've read Disney War also and about the Eisner/Wells era and how he may have lost his way - or moral compass perhaps with Wells passing. Still, it was just a few years ago that Eisner stood firm and prevented the takeover with Comcast as well as AOL a few years...

Please understand I was defending Eisner as well. IMHO he saved the company.

I'd rather not start an Eisner debate here, but I feel I have to say this. When the CEO of Comcast called Eisner with the offer, Eisner's response to Brian Roberts CEO of Comcast was " GO AWAY". He then later said to Larry King publicly "Maybe we'll buy them (Comcast)".

My thoughts exactly, great specialty drinks, but for regular coffee for masses of people at all resorts and parks, the rich smooth taste of DnD far exceeds the bitter Starbucks (IMHO).

The "queue" is an efficient way of moving thru large amounts of people. They do it at most rides and attractions at WDW.

Lee, I agree with you 100%. I have one other thought not specifically directed at the parks though. I feel Eisner saved us all from Comcast and to me I will forever be grateful. Do you think that is a fair statement?

Just off the top of my head here, but I'm thinking that Disney has been monitoring/controlling parking to some extent for quite a while as a resort guest. Why else am I offered a parking permit every time I check in and explained the benefits of such?

I think you're essentially right on here. I think it's "leveraging technology" for the sake of it just being innovative, cutting edge, and interactive. In spite of creativity or, dare I say it...."Story".
