Have you been to Tiana’s Place? It’s much the same tbh but with the Rapunzel make over (obvi). It’s loud, a bit raucous, but well themed and the “other patrons” are a riot. I have a couple pics if you want to see them. I dont want to spoil anything though.

Our room was 2012 for our Alaskan cruise and it was great, but next time we’ll take a verandah room. As others have mentioned, it’s a luxury but when so much is viewable from the ship it seems worth it. Also bring good binoculars!

I’m in the no 1 use plastics club as well. We bought good breathable hardshells a while back and they have been a good investment. Roomy enough to fit over a mid layer for our December trips and comfortable for warm weather cruises.

We ate dinner at the Plaza with low expectations but it was surprisingly good. That being said, the menu has been revamped since we went and it looks like the prices have gone up dramatically. Not sure it’s worth the price now tbh.
