MK vs Epcot - 5 Reasons Why You Feel One is Better Than the Other

Magic Kingdom, but only because there is more to do. There are just more, not to mention better, rides. Food, however, definitely goes to Epcot. I actually prefer Epcot to Magic Kingdom at night, but only then. Magic Kingdom is more fun in the morning and afternoon.

    best hidden attraction?

Hands down Carousel of Progress. I have "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" on my iPod :) Also, Imagination with Figment is kind of fun. It's nothing special, but it's fun and still a good ride. There's never anyone else on it, either.

    Filming of Christmas Parade

I am planning a trip for early December, which should overlap with the filming of the Christmas Day Parade. I have no interest in trying to watch them film it, but I was wondering if crowd levels are any higher than normal throughout the rest of the park. They film over 2 to 3 days, so planning...

    Reservations December 2013

Does anyone know the exact date reservations for December 2013 open up? I want to get an ADR for Be Our Guest, and that obviously requires booking immediately. I know it opens up at 5:00 am central time, but I can't find a date. My guess is June 1st, but I am not at all certain.

Misunderstanding of things as a child.

I was frightened very easily as a child. At the age of either 2 or 4(I can't remember which trip it was), I cried hysterically at the heffalump part of the Winnie the Pooh ride. My parents definitely weren't expecting that! I refused to go on a lot of rides till I was in the double digits...

    Questions about touringplans

    1. Yes, there is a discount if you buy the book. 3. YES, it is definitely worth buying! My family practically swears by their daily touring plans. We get so much done in a day and wait in almost no lines! Be aware, sometimes the custom plans take a few tries to turn out the way you want...

    Disney Vacation Traditions

I love Carousel of Progress, as well! It's been one of my favorite rides from a very young age. I've had that same fear, but there seems to be no word about closing it :) That's a tradition for me, as well. I NEED to ride it at least once per trip.

    No more park hopping...

We used to, went without it for one trip, and then decided we preferred parkhopper. The reason we get it is for restaurants, not for rides. We are usually done with HS and AK at 2, so we go take a mid-afternoon break and go to another park(aka EP) for dinner. These days would be fairly short...

Rumor- Magicbands will be required for some character meet n greets

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that passholders will receive a magicband. Does this mean you can take it off when you want?..

    Animal Kingdom Lodge-underwhelmed

I love Animal Kingdom Lodge. It really isn't that secluded, it's just the only resort near Animal Kingdom. The whole point was to make it feel separated, as if it were in another continent... The restaurants are amazing, and no resort has such a great aroma(which is a result of the restaurants)...

Top 5 Restaurants You'd NEVER do again....

    1. Spirit of Aloha-average food, cheesy sitcom-like show; I might just rather watch paint dry(excluding the five minutess of fire juggling) 2. Yachtsman Steakhouse- food was great, however it was the longest dinner I've EVER experienced; I can appreciate a relaxed, slow dinner. However, when a...

    Addicted To One Snack.

I discovered that I LOVE dole whip on my last trip. I can guarantee I will never again go to Disney without getting dole whip

Splurge on resort or something else?

If you spend time at the resort(including pool), I would say go deluxe-but one of the "cheaper" deluxe. Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing! It's a great place to take kids. Along with the Wilderness, it is the cheapest deluxe. Even if you don't pay for a room with a savanna view, you can see the...

    Rope Drop Firsts!

MK- Space Mountain or Peter Pan Epcot- Soarin' FP, then hop right onto Soarin' AK- Everest FP, get on Dinosaur HS- TSMM

If WDW would add a new theme park, what would you want the theme to be?

What about something more US focused? Kind of like Epcot, except with locations in the US. Also, rather than a world showcase layout it could be more like Magic Kingdom or any of the other parks. It could be less educational, and more fun for younger kids. Just a few ideas for the park: Cars...

    Best Christmas Resort?

I know this is way early, but which on-site Disney resort has the best Christmas decorations/atmosphere?

    Restaurants To Avoid!

The food at 'Spirit of Aloha' was okay, but the show was dreadful. It couldn't have been more cheesy! I came to experience Hawaiian culture, not a poorly performed sitcom. The only part of the show worth watching was the fire juggling. I will never being going back, at least not for a long while...

Any Attraction You Actually Want To Get Stuck On?

Anything but upside-down on Rock 'n' Rollercoaster! Or Small World for that matter... been there, done that (unfortunately) Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin if scoring wouldn't stop, or by the giraffes on Kilimanjaro
