Starting out trip with visiting MK first?

Well honestly this wasn't a question of whether or not TO DO MK, but whether it was an absolute must to do FIRST before other parks. Obviously if it came down to only one park, I'd choose MK. But..ya know..

First time going with five kids

I don't really have any advice for you, but i do have a pop quiz! It's a MK day and you guys are gearing up ready for Happily Ever After and the fireworks. It's busy, really busy. Lots of people front and behind. The show is just about to start. The kids can't see cause of the sheer amount...

Starting out trip with visiting MK first?

Lol nice. I never actually heard someone skipping MK alltogether on a trip.

Starting out trip with visiting MK first?

Just curious on your trips if you absolutely must start out your trip with going to Magic Kingdom first? I'm going for 9 days (not including travel days) and I'm not going to MK until our 3rd day just cause of how the schedule worked out with the late night EMH as well, but yea going to DHS and...

Trip Report Darth Vader and family's april vacation

Or going to AK first before Epcot if you've never been on Soarin. If you've never done either ride, you do Soarin first and then FoP.

Maybe that's the Chef Daniel that they're talking about. Good stuff Dan.

    Tusker House and FOP

You mean about 7am? Or are they opening the gates an hour and half early now, letting you walk 100ft and then holding you there until they start building the FoP queue.? I always find it amusing that even if you're the very first one at the gate 2+ hours ahead of time, it doesn't mean anything...

Trip Report Darth Vader and family's april vacation

Great report! Ahh The Poly. Great atmosphere, great location, horrible service. It's not the first time horrible service has come from this resort. It's actually not great at the GF either. It's why I prefer Animal Kingdom Lodge and/or Beach Club. Btw, I'm from Massachusetts as well...

    Favorite Disney Resort

    1. Animal Kingdom Lodge 2. Beach Club / Yacht Club 3. Poly 4. GF Just cause a resort is the most expensive doesn't mean it's the best. I personally think the restaurants, theming and friendliest service gives the nod to AKL as #1. Then the Beach Club and Yacht Club for the atmosphere...

    Jiko or California Grill

Recent review of Jiko with new chef, Edward Mendoza: https://www.scottjosephorlando.com/reviews/recent-reviews/42-african/4282-jiko-the-cooking-place-will-be-at-chef-s-gala Recent video dining show of CG with new chef, Brian Piasecki who is the chef that moved over from Jiko: Note: It's...

    Tusker House and FOP

Your best bet is to do those FP's at 5pm otherwise you'll never make it in the morning. By the time you eat, the line will be huge. For a 9am opening, you need to be AT the gate by no later than 7:45am, preferably even earlier or you're gonna have a heck of a line. They let people in the...

    EMH not so magical?

I personally think they should boot non-resort guests out at 5pm, but that's just me.

Is this really a service dog?

Just wow. I can pretty much guarantee this is not an ACTUAL Service Dog. Also this is extreme bs that the dog is allowed to go up to characters and rub all over them. What if someone else had a severe allergy? You would literally ruin someones vacation. It's one thing for a service dog to...

    Security at Epcot

Honestly not prepared to go into this again lol, but my point was the extra bag checks, not whether the security personnel "look" like they could protect you or make you feel safe. The second bag check could potentially help what someone else missed. That was my one point, but I've said my...

Is this really a service dog?

Well the issue wasn't the fact of who filmed what. It was the fact that it was at the Beach Club which does not allow dogs, that's for the Yacht Club. Now if this was a true service dog (which I'm still skeptical about) then that's fine, but I really hope I don't see them peeing or pooping on...

Is POFQ As Good As It Looks?

Had a co-worker who just stayed there and got back a few days ago said the room she got at POFQ had bed bugs. The staff wasn't very friendly either but did get them another room. Its also the not the first time I've heard about this resort having bed bugs.

We're just going to have a difference of opinion on this and I can accept that.

    Security at Epcot

I agree about the personal credit cards. No reason for them to do that. However, please don't question whether I should or should not know the effectiveness of security because I served. You're in no place to tell me that. Coming from a military family is not the same as experiencing it for...
