    No, Newsom said he isn't ending the state of emergency, there is a difference. And CalOSHA had rules for employees and masks set to go through next year, but they got push back and are changing their tune.

    Airlines are considered public transit and are indeed privately owned. Trains are privately owned, but also considered public transit. Ride Shares are privately owned, but are considered public transit for purposes of the mask mandate. Basically, your own personal car is not public transit...

    Until the president drops the federal order. Technically the transportation around Disney World is considered a form of public transit and as a result must adhere to the federal mask mandate that requires them on buses, trains, planes, etc.

    No, it is a $5,000 fine per instance of them asking for proof of vaccination from guests/patrons/customers and applies to all businesses in Florida, although that fine doesn't go into effect until July 1st. I will not go into if I think it is right or wrong so we avoid the whole politics thing...

    Sorry, I should have clarified, shows with live performers can't run indoors. I would argue that it is safe since there is glass between the audience and performer, but according to the rules, not allowed.

    It hasn't been open for years as far as I am aware. But right now, it can't be until June 15, theme parks aren't allowed to have indoor shows before then.

    Except the tower was open during at least the first two days of passholder previews. And I know SeaWorld is having technical issues with thier that was caused by the extended shut down and the company that makes the part went out of business during all of this. It was almost ready to reopen...

    Actually, the rules are the same after June 15th, the only requirement for zoos and theme parks is that they recommend (not require) you are vaccinated and that they offer free face masks for anyone who wants them upon entry, at least that is what the state says for June 15th on at the moment.

    Most of the rides that are currently closed are likely due to technical issues more than anything else. The exception being the Stage Coach and Huff and Puff, those are clearly social distancing issues.

    I know, I like it too, maybe they can figure something out, who knows? But as it stands now, I don't see how they can anytime soon.
