    WDW Changed Opinions?

Completely agree with what epcotisbest posted. Our philosophy in that respect has changed also. We are no longer marching from one attraction to the other. We have learned to stop and smell the roses. In that regard, attractions like the TTA, the Liberty Square Riverboat, and the Carousel of...

    Favorite non-park thing to do

We love to visit the various resorts during the Christmas holidays to see all of the great decorations, trees, and food that each resort offers, many of which are absolutely breathtaking.

    Favourite World Showcase Attraction

I agree on Impressions de France. The visuals, while dated, are still breathtaking. And the music is incredible.

What are your favorite WDW podcasts?

I'm a huge fan of WDW Radio with Lou Mongello. Lou is an overly-positive guy on all things Disney, so if you are looking for a critical tone you will not find it there. But his outlook on Disney is very similar to mine, so I really enjoy it. Also agree on the Unofficial Guide with Jim Hill...

What is everyone's favorite WDW attraction and why?

It is definitely Splash Mountain for me. Agree with the post above that it has it all. It has a decent queue, a very long 11 minute ride duration, INCREDIBLE music, tons of audio-animatronics, and multiple false-drops...all leading to the ultimate drop near the end. It also has a very...

What makes you tear up/cry in the parks?

Definitely Wishes...gets me every time. Plus the first morning on each trip that we visit the Magic Kingdom...can't help myself.

If you could bring back ONE attraction...

No doubt about it for me, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It is the ride that stood out the most for me and stayed in my memory from my first trip as a kid. One of my prized possessions is a seat from one of the subs...if only my wife would let me hang it on the wall somewhere.

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

Splash Mountain is my number 1 favorite attraction in all of WDW, and I do like the Briar Patch. However, I wish they had a little more "Splash Mountain" specific merchandise in there. There are usually a few shirts in the Splash Down photos area, but not much else.

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

I picked up a really sweet "Summit Team" pullover a couple of years ago. I was wearing it in Home Depot a few weeks ago, and a guy asked me "so you are a climber." I had to explain to him that, no, I'm not a climber, just a Disney nut.

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

I love the Pirate's Bazaar, the POC shop too! I can get waste a lot of time and money in there.

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

In DHS, I also love the 5 and 10 on Hollywood Blvd.

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

The shops in World Showcase are some of my favorites, just because of how unique many of them are (including France).

What are your favorite shops in the Walt Disney World Parks?

I'm not a big shopper normally, but that changes and I always buy too much when I'm in the parks. My favorite shop is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe because 1) I love Christmas, 2) I love Liberty Square, and 3) I really love the theming of the shop, with the combination of the woodworker shop, the...

World Showcase's Mountain Range That Never Was

Have to admit that is really cool stuff. It is amazing how different things could have been.

    Rope Drop Question

Agree with the thoughts referenced above. We have many times scheduled a pre-opening breakfast at Crystal Palace. Walking down a completely empty Main St. is incredible. The pictures you can get are amazing, and if you are trying to get a special picture in front of the castle, or a picture...

    DHS Hollywood Studios New Name?

I am interested to find out also. I do hope they utilize the "Hollywood" name in some way. Even though it is not a working studio any more, I do think Hollywood and Sunset Blvds to a good job of capturing the idea of the golden age of Hollywood.
