Great that this is optional. If its quicker to carry your own luggage and be able to start the 2nd part of the trip how could you go wrong?

If we to select the towncar, i'm assuming that we would just take our luggage with us when we disembark?

I know. We don't cruise for another few months and here I am asking how early to get off the boat. Would seem like a buzzkill but at least we have the parks to look forward to. If not for that we might be the last people on the boat.

I would prefer to wake up at a decent time and have breakfast before getting off the ship. We have the 1st dining times so maybe that will let us get up, eat and be off at a decent time.

Hello again all. Another question for you seasoned DCL cruisers. We are fortunate to be able to visit WDW after our cruise and wondering the best time to disembark to beat the crowds and head to the parks. We would like to experience the ship for as long as we can but would prefer not to have...

Thanks. We're flying in 3 days before the cruise and will be returning the rental car the night before the cruise. I really wish we would be able to take DCL transfer to the port but will be less than 10 minutes away so we'll be taking a taxi. We thought about getting a car and driving the WDW...

@Disneyfalcon maybe you can give me your opinion on this. We have a choice between taking the bus from the port to WDW or a towncar. We have 2 boys 9 & 6 at time of trip and looking for the best experience for them. What would you suggest with that in mind?

I would say that you could do one of the quick dining options (on the upper decks) or room service.

So we're getting close to our 1st ever Disney cruise and had a couple of questions. Sorry if these questions have already been answered in other posts. Thanks for any help you can provide. When do the transfers have to be paid for? When do excursions have to be paid?
