Disney's lost opportunity with Moore film seen minor

Nah I really think this is all out of proportion and that Farn 9/11 is jsut talk. It's not going blow the box office away. If you want to talk about lost movies that would have made us some cashs lets look at Miramax letting go the Lord of the Rings. Thats a cash cow. But it a political year and...

    Disneyland Pakistan?

To risky- lets see most of the Middle East hates Americans and Europeans because of our influnce on there lives. Bring the Western biggest name Disney- then follows McD's, Sony, Coca, etc. Now wouldn't that be a nice terrorist target, but hey there gov. are the ones letting us in.

    Disney and McDonald's

I would like to see Disney and Mcdonalds stay together or it would be another loss for us. They have given use alot of sponsership for rides. But if a fallout happens it will be Burger King but probably YUM Brands. (KFC, Taco Bell, AW, Long John Silvers, and Pizza Hut).

    Disney's New Restaurant Chain Partner?

It would be YUM Brands or Burger King if a fallout happened. YUM is the second largest fast food chain (Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, Long John Slivers, and AW Rootbeer).

    NBC Uni sell Spain.

I think that Selling the US parks is not far fetched NBC Uni is in it for profits because of GE so I think the parks are going.

    Mgm Up For Sale!!

MGM would cost dis only around 5-6 Billion Fox Family cost Dis 5.2 Billion. Which is why Disney should buy MGM it also be a good studio to have if a Miramax fall out happens. Also I don't know how MGM works with MGM Mirage but what I can figure out they are a different company, maybe pays...

    Life after the Magic (article)

didn't the Lion King push Dis to open there FL studios. Also I agree speak76 that they should have put all there best in one place. Also I think 2-D was a flooded market there was nothing special about the movies they followed many of hte same themes and everyone got use to them. Take the 1980's...

    Michael Eisner's Successor

But wouldn't Burke and Roberts (I think Comcast CEO) probably marry to to compaines? Also I think Comcast really wanted Dis. But we would have been truly upset with what they would do to them. They only wanted the Cable, ABC, and Studios the rest of Disney would have been left up in the air.

    NBC Uni sell Spain.

But a full out sell out by Comcast would have generated a nice profit to lessen the debt load. Unlike NBC Uni the debt would have killed Comcast and the parks probably would have gotten the ax. NBC got big pockets because of GE.

    Mgm Up For Sale!!

Nope it's public (stock symbol is MGM). They just have a majority stock holder like Jobs I believe has a 60% ownership in PIXAR. This gives them alot of say in takeovers, mergers, buyouts, etc. Thats why when the Comcast Disney deal was hot rumors had it that Hearst Media would buy a large stake...

    NBC Uni sell Spain.

Resort News - (6/21/04) NBC Universal sold off their 37% ownership stakes in the theme park resort to La Caixa, a Spanish Bank partner in the park, for $30 million. This move brings up the ownership of La Caixa to 80%, with the remaining shares going to Anheuser-Busch (13.6%) and Abertis (6.3%)...

    Michael Eisner's Successor

NONE: BOB IGER, been with the Eisner Dynasty to long. Mel Karmazin, can build a radio company (look at infinity) but what would he do with theme parks, etc. Look at NBC Uni already sold Uni Spain. Meg Whitman, not a bad choice but Disney is very diverse ebay isn't. She problably would...

I knw this is not Disney but will Potter break 200 Mil

Nothing that is coming out will hurt HP only Spider man 2 because it will take screens and the market. The Terminal and 80 days will do very little damage while Fahrenheit 9/11 will not put dents into potter record we should see it go to about 250 Million. This week: The Terminal, Dodgeball...
