    Eisner's Improvements Of WDW

I think Eisner is doing what most CEO's would do. He is trying the make the best profits for the investors. That would explain the cheap movies, theme park rides, etc.... Disney is on a budget like anyother company and is returning pretty good profits. The problem with this is that Disney is not...

    Speaking of Narnia

Well Narnia has seven books, no shortage of movies there. Next Year Disney has Chicken Little and the Wild (Both CGI) and they both look very good. So I wouldn't give up on Disney yet they just had a bad year coming off the best year ever.

    Speaking of Narnia

So far three are in the works, I heard. Disney is spending 175 Million on each movie (splitting cost with Walden Media) They hope this to be the next LotR. Which they way they are playing it up it just might be.

    Speaking of Narnia

Narnia to have largest marketing campaign ever; Gregson-Williams to provide movie's theme As Disney is spending more on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe than they have probably ever spent on a movie before, the film's marketing campaign, while still in the planning stages, is also...

    King Arthur

Great Movie. Thought it was well done. Made 15 Million and total of 23 not to great but very good for Disney this year this should touch close to 100 in the US and make back it's cost world wide. Now for the Village.

    MGM Bidding War is ON!

Sony is also bidding. But yeah I think Disney should moove in. If Eisner could make this work he might be able to hang on longer.

    Narnia Starts to film

I believe that Disney has a huge hand in it. They own the rights to games, and other movie related material (as seen by Disney consumer products press release). Also Disney is the Dis. and also paying aleast half or more of the bill. I think it's like Disney's and Buckhimer deal.

    What book would you choose?

Well I got my wish to see Lord of the Rings and Potter, now I have Narnia coming to the screen. There are three books that I would like to see Disney make. The Wind on Fire Trilogy- the Windsinger, Slaves of the Mastery, and Firesong. Disney's Hyperion publishing publishes the books so the...

    Narnia Starts to film

Disney and Walden have been workling together since Holes. they have done a few other movies also- Abyss and 80 days. According to what I have read 80 days was way over budget and Walden was tight for cash with out a backer. So Disney came in and said they would dis. the movie. Then a few months...

Disney's lost opportunity with Moore film seen minor

Yes it still was a good idea for Disney not to release it. You have to look at teh long term affect. This movie proves there are many Americans that are in teh political world and follow up on things. It's not a good thing for a Company to take sides when you specialize in family entertainment...

Disney's lost opportunity with Moore film seen minor

I know how movies make money but I am saying this isn't going to be a the next sherk 2 or something. Alot people make it out as a huge loss for Disney. But looking at this year Disney's movie division could use a boost but lets see what King Arthur does.

    Eisner and Miramax

Not releasing Moore's film was Disney putting it's foot down. No matter what you believe you can't take sides when you are a corp. like Disney. When you take sides you alienate people. If Disney did release the film I would have been extremely upset and many other people are. Moore is just...
