I have heard other people complaining about CBR as well so I'm a little worried about it. However, my goal is to try every resort at least once and the Skyliner was a huge draw for me.

I think you will really love the location of Yacht Club. Beach Club so far is my favorite resort and I hope to try Yacht Club in the future.

I will be staying at CBR for the first time in February 2020. I know nothing about the resort other than the Skyliner is now there. When did you stay and what were your issues with it?

I have had their cupcakes many times, not just at Disney. We have a store where I live as well and they are always delicious.

I love mornings, however, there's something about being in the parks at night with the lights on that I love. Especially if it's Winter and the holiday decorations are up. Plus, the fireworks are at night.

The Boardwalk hotel has always been on my list of hotels I don't want to stay at. Your pictures are seriously making me reconsider though.

What time is your BOG reservation? I agree that you should try to move up the CP reservation before park hours if possible. If not, go during non-peak meal times such as 10:30, like @carriebeth suggested. Then move your lunch to another non-peak meal time such as 2:30-3. Then have a light dinner...

Like the others have said, you're going to have to wait until the weather is available for those days. We go early to mid-December each year and it's different each time. We've experienced very cold/rainy weather one year and very hot weather other years.

The first time my group went to Disney during Christmas, we had no idea they did a lighting of the castle. We happened to show up to MK 5 minutes beforehand, heard the announcement and decided we would stay to see what it was. Blown away and now we do it every year.

Thank you so much @LAKid53 !! I will definitely mark Epcot for Friday, February 21 and Animal Kingdom for Saturday, February 22. We are staying at CBR, so we will be taking the Skyliner to the park and entering through the International Gateway. Hopefully that helps with avoiding the traffic...
