Thanks everyone! Disney providing only a single confirmation number is one thing, but never explaining how you actually get park tickets is another. I already knew about magicbands, so it was a logical assumption, but not everyone would. How did you guys figure it out?

You were able to make fastpass selections beforehand though, right? I assumed that. But wanted to be absolutely sure. I actually must pick up the magicbands at the front desk of the hotel (as I live outside the united states). I wonder if that is always the case. As I can see the park tickets as...

I paid for both the hotel room and park tickets (as a package) on the official website (disneyworld.disney.go.com). And received a single e-mail confirmation of both that contains just one confirmation number, not two, as you may expect. Do they both use the same one? And the park tickets get...

So the proof of tickets is the ONE confirmation number they sent by email? That is for both the hotel and tickets? And tickets are put on the magicbands automatically?

I am not as pessimistic as the rest of you; explain why I should be. ;)

We booked the hotel and park tickets as a package thru disney.go.com. And I understand MagicBands are sent to the hotel when you live outside the United States; but what about the park tickets? o_O

Wife and I are going to MK and AK for the first time, staying on-property; any tips or suggestions? :D

I expected the wait time doubling, but this? How is that even possible? This used to be a walk on. :eek:

I read the odd page here. What is the purpose of not opening right away and closing early? Is the ride breaking so much that it requires long maintenance periods every night?

This must be to artificially inflate the very low wait times or sell max pass.

I never thought about it that way. Now I hate it!

As other e-tickets contain way more animatronics; this ride is never going to be of that caliber. Is this a poor opinion?

How was it before at DHS? EDIT: I used google. And it was originally first come, first served. I guess with the current demand both are flawed.
