Opinions about Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios

Thanks for making my point! The first 10 to 20 minutes of the meal are always key to me. I was hungry and waiting 20 minutes for bread drove me nuts. I also stated that I ate at 5 other TS meals. All of the other meals took about an hour. It was only me and 1 other person. No appetizers or...

Opinions about Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios

I just got back from a Disney trip where we ate at 6 table service restaurants. The experience at the Brown Derby was by far the worst. The food wasn't that bad, but the service was so slow, that I almost walked out of the restaurant. When we sat down it took 5 minutes before our waitress walked...

    Split Stay Moving Day

Never had an issue with split stays and bell services. In fact, I am leaving tomorrow and because of potential bad weather in the northeast, had to make a 1 night reservation Sunday night for Coronado springs. I am then transferring to the Grand Floridian for 2 nights and then the Boardwalk for...

Adding days onto my hopper tickets

Thanks for the info guys! I wasn't even thinking about fast passes. I bought them through Disney, so I will call today.

Adding days onto my hopper tickets

I will be going to Disney next week and wanted to add an extra day to my park hopper ticket. What is the best way to do this? Should I call before the trip and have them add it on? Should I go to a ticket window my first day there? Or should I have my resort concierge take care of it for me? Thanks

    Split Stay Information

I do split stays all the time. I would also suggest going to the front desk at the Poly and having them scan your bands to make sure everything is set up. You want to use your bands to get into your Poly rooms and also make sure your theme park tickets are linked in.

    Room Upgrades 2019

I think online check-in does lock you in a bit because it seems that they will give you the first room that is available. I am also going to Disney in a week. On my last trip we split between the Beach Club and the Wilderness lodge. At the Beach club I did online check in and received a basic...

    The Grand Floridian worth it?

I will be staying there in a few weeks. I got 2 nights there and 2 nights at the Boardwalk. The Grand Floridian was $450 a night for a standard/garden view room. The Boardwalk was $375 a night for a standard/garden view room. So, $1650 for my 4 nights are an expensive part of our trip, but it...

Worst Disney World hotel experience thread

I have stayed on Disney's property approx. 50 times over the years and I don't think I have had 1 issue with the resorts. I don't know if this response is for anyone complaining about a room not being ready, but the times that my rooms have not been ready are the times when I had specific room...

    Tusker house

I was looking for some feedback for the Tusker House lunch/dinner. Also, does anybody know if the characters are at lunch, or only breakfast and dinner?

Signature restaurants worth that extra credit

When I went back in January, we got the DDP. We ate at the Yachtsmans,California Grill,Artist Point and Le Cellier. In the past I have also eaten at Narcoosees. My favorite was the Yachtsman. The food was amazing. I also liked the California grill because of the amount of food. Even though I...

    Grand Floridian or Contemporary

I love how the votes seem to be split between the 2. Thanks for the beautiful pics @Tuvalu! Since we are doing the Flower and Garden Festival, my party is thinking about splitting our stay between one of these resorts and the Beach Club. I love hearing what people like about the resorts. It's...

    Grand Floridian or Contemporary

Thanks for all the advice! I actually like the idea of staying at the GF and walking to the TTC. WE have been to the F&G festival before, so we will probably go there once or twice. I assume we will spend a good amount of time at the resort. I guess I am probably more interested in knowing, what...

Will bell services transfer luggage from Coronado Springs to the Dolphin Hotel?

I have transferred between 2 Disney resorts many times. They will not transfer your bags to the Swan and Dolphin since they are not Disney hotels. If it was me, I would bring my bags to bell services(at Coronado) and ask them if they could transfer your bags to the Boardwalk or Yacht/Beach club...

    Grand Floridian or Contemporary

I am going to Disney the first week of March for the Flower and Garden festival. I am not too concerned about money, so I am planning on either getting a theme park view in the Contemporary main tower or a lagoon view room in one of the Grande Floridian outside buildings. These are the only 2...

    Snacks

A great deal is the Chip and Dale trail mix(in a bag). It retails for $6.95 and is a snack option. All of the Goofy candy is also a snack option. All of the stuff in France at the Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles are good!

    Favorite Disney Resort

I agree on the deluxe and moderate. I like some of the rooms at the All Star Music. Polynesian is my favorite Disney resort, but I always stay at the Wilderness Lodge, if I go around the Holidays.

Online Check-In for AKL or not?

I'm in the same boat as you Dave. I always do online check-in and usually receive a text when I get off the plane. It has my room number and a map of the resort. I haven't gone to the front desk in my last 5 trips.

4 Walt Disney World Resorts to accept dogs

How about creating the "All Star Dog Resort". Why mix dogs into the resorts. If it's so important to Disney, then why not build a separate resort?

    Single riders list?

I think Mission Space had a single rider line when it first opened, because only the orange mission was available. When they put in the more relaxed version, they got rid of it. I wish they had more options like Soarin or Space Mountain.
