Does Eating At A Disney Resort Count?

Your story has swayed my opinon. If you have seen the ball, you've seen "The World" in my humble opinon. My husband agrees with you...it's disney property. It may not have been a full blown disney experience, but you touched by the magic! That's all it takes to get hooked.

Does Eating At A Disney Resort Count?

Actually, I think my problem is that if I was in Orlando, and did not do any parks, I'd be so peeved at myself, my husband, the fire hydant, :brick: ...that I would not be able to think straight. I am a huge Disney fan (with major Disney issues) and I unfortunately only go there once a year...

Does Eating At A Disney Resort Count?

:ROFLOL: Then I don't think I've had a dinner vacation in 3 years...when you go WITH the kids its WORK!!! If the question is, did I go to WDW? Yes, then you did, but it should be stated..."I went to dinner at WDW" Then the other would say, "Oh, where did you go?" At that point the...

Does Eating At A Disney Resort Count?

I believe...that unless you are staying in a disney resort or any resort overnight after having that dinner, you are technically not on a vacation at all, you went out to dinner. I don't head down to the Friday's 3 towns down and call it a vacation. When you use the word trip, I would assume...

    smoking areas at resorts?

From what I have come to understand, it is supposed to be 25 feet from the buiding. The landscape at POR is so lush, I have no clue where they will put them. I can imagine that at CBR they will probably be in the little courtyards. Now we will run into the problem of people "gagging" as they...

Not sure if we should drive

To cut down on some of the packing, we stop at Walmart after we check in and before our room is ready. We pick up toiletrties etc while there. Make sure you bring a blanket to cover the rear passenger side windows. During the drive the sun was beating down on my son and it helped to hang the...

Getting in room on early arrival...

Never have been able to get to the room before 2 pm. That was the earliest. We usually go to Downtown Disney or Walmart (Exciting I know) to pick up a few things for the stay...like wine coolers for the fridge.:slurp:

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Go Smoke-Free

Speaking of crack pipes...:ROFLOL: Hypothetically, if you use medicinal marjuana, will you be forced to roll them outside or is that permissable in a room. After all, we all know that it smells NOTHING like cigarette smoke. Speaking of that, how many non-smokers are offended by the smoke from...

    Best Footwear for WDW

I'm not sure if they ship to UK, but I am sure they do. Buy 1 pair and decide for yourself. Personally, I think they look better with capri pants or jeans. They look great on kids. My son loves them and he can still play in them. They weigh on 6 oz. and they bend with you and the bumps...

Not sure if we should drive

This is the site I was looking for: http://www.wdwinfo.com/transportation/Driving_to_florida.htm I printed the whole thing out. It was really convenient when we were hungry or needed gas. It is my I 95 bible. If you drive, I hope it helps.

Not sure if we should drive

I drove from Toms River in 2 cars with 4 kids, one of which was my son, 3 and autistic. We brought the DVD and thank god we did. Life saver! We left at 3 am. The kids slpet until about 7 am and we had a few breakfast items in the car. They snacked on those until we ate a real breakfast in...

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Go Smoke-Free

Scar junior...you crack me up! Just for the record, in November I requested a smoking room in Alligator Bayou 1st floor. What I got was a non smoking room in a smoking optional building on the 2nd floor. We eventually got a 1st floor room in another non smoking building. I never smoked in...

All WDW Resort Hotels non-smoking effective June 1st!

I can't focus, I get angry and impatient. It's not pretty, just ask my husband. I can go the most 3/4 hours without one. Then the withdrawl symptoms start to kick in. Jittery etc. Trust me I have tried many times to quit, patch, pills, lozenges, weaning cigarettes. It is the hardest thing I...

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Go Smoke-Free

Believe me I agree that it makes a room nasty. I don't smoke in my home or in a hotel room, etc because its gross and horrible. I aggree that the ban on rooms is wonderful. No one should I just can't see not being able to have a cig or cigar on a balcony with the door shut. Perhaps I'd like...

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Go Smoke-Free

Smoking keeps me from hurting my husband. :brick: LOL. The last time I tried to quit, my husband begged me to smoke again. It's like my ritalin. I'm a little hyper. I hope someone posts the designated areas as soon as they find out. We are going in November and my goal is to quit by then...
