True, but the same could be said for this year since they hauled out retired shows and it didn't boost attendance, just made a bad situation better. This new show is the only carrot they have to dangle and we're only halfway through 2023.

They'd be foolish to wait till 2024. With the way fall bookings are looking, they need all the help they can get. The launch of a new nighttime show is certainly needed to attract $$$, and if it indeed is just primarily fireworks and a score (and its been in the works over a year already)...

Curious if the show is already completed (score, narration recorded) and they're just waiting to get into Epcot to start programming, or is that still being adjusted in the studio. I would think that work would already be done considered they're aiming to open in 2 months.

It begs the question, what happened with the Disney Springs drones? If they're not using drones at Epcot, I'd use them to at least bulk up Jingle Bam, especially because it now sits behind a pay wall and in its latest pyro count, doesn't warrant the price tag.

Coming off the heels of a streak of misses, it wouldn't surprise me if the decision was made to not over promote this new show. I think they'd rather not promise anything and have people pleasantly surprised rather than tons of horrible Disney Parks PR promising the greatest spectacle ever...

I just want a moving score with great fireworks. It shouldnt be that difficult, but it's a sad state of affairs when even that is questionable.

The fact that they're giving up on the idea of Dinosaurs...in Animal Kingdom...animals that have captured the imaginations of basically every child...with the potential to create unparalleled experiences...yet Disney feels that area would be better suited for something like Moana, speaks volumes...

Hollywood Studios has the PERFECT atmosphere for a classic evening Christmas parade like towns have done for decades. I hope they have the budget for one. It could be really special.

I'm a few in, so I'll guess the Studios is getting a hard ticket holiday event. That would certainly create two camps.

Even if Disney broke ground today on new lands, none if it would be ready even close to Epic's opening time frame. I'd guess it would take at least two years after Epic's opening. Entertainment is the only viable solution to draw people in for the next several years.

Agreed. This just seems like the only option as I don't think they could open any attractions of substance by then.

In regards to Epic, The quickest thing they could do would be to get these parks back to circa 2000 entertainment. Get shiny new day parades in at least in two parks, night parades, get the Studios new shows all across the board, invest in World Showcase and "Future World" entertainment again...
