The times we have had an early reservation, they haven't cared about the time, just as long as we had one, we've gotten in well over 30 minutes early before.

Yep....I've done this before. Keep your baggage claim tickets when you check your bags for your flight, and then give the DME people those tickets and they will get your bags for you. No need to worry or fuss, you can still do the regular process that way.

Yep....I often do this. But I try cancel them at least a week out. I like to wait and see what the weather looks like and if it is going to effect my plans.

I have seen people walk up for Sci-Fi and get in, so hopefully that might work for you if you can't get a reservation.

We love it, we do it every time we go. Its a great way to get in a little break or something to do during bad weather. You do not need "reservations" , however, the popular movies that are offered on the Fork and Dine can sell out quickly as there aren't as many seats as in a normal theater...

Does anyone know if they offer discounts on last minute cruises? We are going to WDW Nov 30 - Dec 5 and were thinking about adding a cruise Nov 27 - Nov 30. We are going to be in the area anyways so thought we might look into it.

The simple answer is why would Disney ever try to be like Universal, that's a step backwards. Disney started the FastPass system, and it was free and always has been, Uni introduced it as a reaction. Secondly, there is a daily limit to the Express Pass....they only sell so many of them and...
