    Peeps on SSE! Soft openings!

Errrr, if I come, I will be alone. I have NEVER been in WDW alone, except for in the restroom or something of the sort. I am always there with the fiancee or family. I kind of like the idea of wandering the World solo...no one to tend to....hmmmm. But, the 3.5 hour drive does not sound...

    Peeps on SSE! Soft openings!

To go, or not to go, that is the question. I REALLY hope SSE will have at least ONE soft opening this weekend. I am only 3.5 hours away, but still, I don't wanna spend the time and gas $$$ in vain. Well, nevermind, I will still be in the World, so nothing will be in vain! Okay, well since I...

    Peeps on SSE! Soft openings!

Some friends and I are just going to take our chances and drive up for the weekend. Let's hope those of us attempting a sneak peek this weekend will find some EPCOT luck! :D

    Peeps on SSE! Soft openings!

True….BUT, the finale score was so grand and emotional, it made up for any lack of scenery. Out of everything lost, I will miss the spectacular finale score from SSE the most! I just can’t foresee playing with some digital touch screen as an equal magical experience as sitting back, basking in...

    Peeps on SSE! Soft openings!

Before I jet up the Florida Turnpike for 3.5 hours, is there any certainty to continued soft openings over the weekend?

    AK worker injured

::Praying for a full and complete recovery:: Attention WDW Management: Consider this incident a perfect reason to rip Chester and Hester's crap-o-licous Dino-Rama off the DAK map!

What would you like to see more of in the 5th gate?

I assume you are riding the waves of Sarcasm Sea with this post. To consider Castaway Cay or ANYTHING to do with Disney Cruise Lines as anything 5th gate related is rediculous at best. Also, someone correct me please, but Iger or some other top Disney official recently mentioned 5th gate by...

    Icon Lighting (MK and Epcot)

I noticed the nets (and random workers) as we dined on the Starlight Cafe terrace on Sunday, but I COMPLETELY forgot about the new holiday lighting scheme till I got home and found the latest Mouse Monitor in the mail.

    Annual passes question

Incorrect. There IS a discount through AAA. It's not much, but it does help when you are purchasing more than 1 pass. I highly recommend becoming an AAA member simply for the Disney discounts (though there are plenty of other incentives for the very reasonable annual membership price tag).

    Bizzare scene at Philharmagic

I would also have said something. I have been known to chastise unsanitary and lazy guests in the past merely because I love WDW far too much to simply stand by and watch others disrespect the “Disney atmosphere” effort put forth by cast members. My fiancée and I were waiting outside Country...

    A Magical Act of Kindness!

Sorry, I guess I just had to vent! Perhaps we should start a HHN post so everyone can chime in?

    A Magical Act of Kindness!

I attended Fright Nights years ago so I don’t remember much in regards to detail, but I didn't find the Universal material much more impressive than what I can remember. With the budget and space available, Universal should blow events like Fright Nights and such out of the water. I was...

    A Magical Act of Kindness!

There is an event in West Palm Beach that utilizes several massive warehouses and a mock "Old West" town for various themed houses. My fiancée and I both agreed that the quality, length, and overall "scare" factor of those houses certainly surpassed the more known and revered Universal event...

    A Magical Act of Kindness!

Hey Disney family! Just thought I’d drop in to share with everyone the amazing act of kindness a fellow guest displayed upon my fiancée and I this weekend. Spending the weekend in the World was a pleasure as always! We arrived Friday night to experience Universal’s Halloween...

'The Little Mermaid' attraction for WDW?

This should be the end-all quote on "clone: yay/nay" discussions. Very good points made here! To go even further, the casual guests that do know of, or have actually experienced "clone" attractions on the opposite coast, can be quite boisterous in their keen observations. Remember, WDW would...

'The Little Mermaid' attraction for WDW?

Supposedly, LM will be a DCA-only attraction for the first 5-7 years. After that, WDW will get a clone, or better yet, its very own version.

'The Little Mermaid' attraction for WDW?

I know there are some raw feelings for Jim Hill and his news, but his latest article does mention that WDW WILL get the attraction...on the 20K plot!!!!!! http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2007/10/19/a-special-how-suite-it-is-edition-of-why-for.aspx

'The Little Mermaid' attraction for WDW?

With the official announcement of the Disneyland Resort enhancements and additions, it seems the long-loved and lost “The Little Mermaid” attraction may finally see the light of reality. Granted this attraction will be in vein, but not exactly the same as the concept drawings, layout, and 3D...

Gargoyles in the HM Strech room

I didn't take the new creepy whispering in the new stretch room as the gargoyles......but it does make sense to credit the effect to them. They certainly look much more vibrant and polished than they did pre-refurb.
