    WL vs CSR

These are all the things we love about the Lodge. We can't imagine staying anywhere else even if it means we can only come every few years.

    Positive Disney social experiment

There are so many things I love about Disney. The "Welcome Home" when we check in, leaving the rest of the world behind us (the only thing I check in on are the furry babies back home getting spoiled by their grandparents), all the little details in the background that just add to the...

    The Million $$$$ Month Vacation..

My husband and I have had this discussion when the jackpot gets really big but he always brings up the annoying point of "If you don't play the lottery you aren't going to win". Dang, why are the PA Dutch so practical? Well anyhoo, on to my list: Week 1 - POFQ of POR (I've always wanted to...

    Now what??

Usually we head to the parks but we're changing that up this trip and taking an easy entrance into the World. Mini golf and dinner and maybe Jellyrolls if I can talk my husband into going there.

    Favorite queue

That's a good start. I can agree on 3 of them. I won't see the new Test Track until September so I'll give that one the benefit of the doubt (for the moment at least).

    Favorite queue

I can't believe I'm admitting this but I didn't know about the change in this queue. What's new here?

You can't leave us hanging like this. Do tell.

Which Disney Visa card design did you choose?

We have the Mickey and Friends trio (but I would gladly give that up if they came out with one that featured Pluto).

    Favorite queue

I've always enjoyed the ToT queue, especially if I have to wander through the outside. The eeriness of the line puts me in the mood for the ride itself. Splash Mountain is pretty good too but anymore I just walk straight thru and get on the ride. My DH would probably choose Star Tours but he...

    Whispering Canyon Cafe

We had the same issue with our seats. We were along the back wall and really missed out on a lot of what was going on. We did get to see the stick pony parade, though.

    Ideas for Landing Day?

We'll be arriving around noon so like you we are not planning a day in the parks. I think we're going to try to get a game of mini golf in at Fantasia Gardens and then we have a dinner reservation for Yachtsmen Steakhouse. Nothing too strenuous after a long trip south down I-95.

    Be Our Guest ADR

Congratulations! Your perseverance (and blood, sweat and tears) paid off. We were lucky enough to get one there for our anniversary in September (4:30 so we can make Night of Joy).

    100 days to go!

Congratulations! I felt the same way when I saw the 100 day mark on our countdown (we are closing in on 80 days now). Time will fly and before you know it you will be leaving for the World.

WDW nut, but embarrassed to say I haven't tried.....

Oh, you have to make time to try this. With one picky eater (my husband shall stay anonymous :p) we can always find something for both of us here. It's become a must-eat-at location on every trip.

WDW nut, but embarrassed to say I haven't tried.....

I think we've hit most of the big rides and shows. I haven't done Astro Orbitors or the new Fantasyland yet but we're going to change that this September. Tom Sawyer Island hasn't made it to my list, maybe because we don't have children. No County Bear Jamboree either, probably for the same...

    September vacationers!

Thank you for the good news! I can't believe how many of the days lined up with our plans.

Most magical extra something you've had at wdw?

We've had a couple take place at our home away from home, WL. On our honeymoon we came back to find some champagne in our room with a card. On one of our anniversary trips we came back to balloons and a card in the room. Nothing really big but we felt so special. During the Year of a...

A long time ago (ok, not too long..) in a land 1,164 miles from Chicago and 1,007 miles from Philly

Oh, I'm jealous that you got to see Aurora (she's my favorite princess) in the utilidors. When we took the tour we didn't get to see any characters down there. I do agree that people should take this tour if at all possible. I was worried that it might ruin some of the magic for me but it...

    KttK question

We did the tour back in '07 and enjoyed it. Our guide was really good and you could tell he had a genuine passion for Disney. It's a lot of walking so that is one thing you want to be prepared for if you take the tour. I agree with the above poster about the utilidors being kind of drab. I...
