What's the deal with Hollywood Studios

I agree with you about the working studio part. It's like the life just went out of the park when it became static. It lost the vibrancy and the excitement of feeling like you were in the middle of the movies. The backlot tour has been so weakened that they should just take it off life...

    pin trading

We bought a lot of 100 pins on Ebay earlier this month and all are authentic. We paid around $50 with no shipping which worked out to 50 cents per pin, much better than what we paid in the park.

    Average Length of Stay

We used to do 7 days, but felt too rushed. Last time we did 11 days and spent 10 of them in the parks. We came home happy but exhausted. This year we settled for 10 with only 6 days in the parks so we could build in some off time. My husband will be a much happier guy having a couple of days...

How far do you travel to get to the World?

We're living here in Allentown (PA-shout out to Billy Joel's song). Our drive is somewhere around 1,000 miles but we split the drive up over two days or do a combo drive/Autotrain trip to break up the monotony of I-95.

    First time at Disney!

From one new member to another, welcome! Since you both are adventurous, why not try something in World Showcase at Epcot? We've been pretty happy eating there and my husband is kind of picky so that's really saying something. You could also try eating at one of the other resorts just to see...

    Disney Song Stress Reliever

I would choose either Soarin' or It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow but any song would do in a pinch.

You know it is crowded when...

The line for It's a Small World goes outside the building and more than half the people waiting in line are adults without children.

    Long forgotten Disney movie

I loved that movie when I was a kid. We have it on DVD but I haven't gotten my husband to watch it yet.

Remember when you could ride in the front of the monorail?

We were able to ride in the front once on our honeymoon. We didn't get a co-pilot's card but that might be because the driver was too busy flirting with the two women who rode with us. The view on approach into Epcot was the best from the front.

My Disney Experience website is terrible

It's been hit or miss for us. First we couldn't sync our reservations. Then we got them on and when it came time to book our ADR's we could only book the very first day. After a few minutes we gave up and just waited it out till 7 and called them in. Fortunately we got what we wanted but it...

Driving to Disney... to drive or not to drive, that is the question!?!

We're driving down from PA in September. The drive down isn't so bad because we're too excited. The drive home is another story. We might take the Auto Train home again this year which allows us to get up and walk around and break up the monotony of I-95.

What's your favorite 2 credit restaurants and why?

We ate at Jiko and Yachtsman Steakhouse and really enjoyed both. Yachtsman Steakhouse even gave us a little treat for our anniversary. If they mention they will be celebrating their honeymoon when they make reservations it will be noted for the restaurant.
