    Morimoto at Disney Springs

Honestly, the Lime garage is better in my opinion. When you exit the Lime garage, you pretty much just keep walking straight right after you get off the stairs/escalators. Continue across the bridge straight ahead and Morimoto's is on the left right after the bridge. To each their own of...

    Mexico Restaurants

Put me down for San Angel Inn. We eat there quite a bit and enjoy both the atmosphere and food there. We ate there a few weeks back and it was good as it usually is.

My 2016 Food & Wine Festival Thread

You are very welcome! I enjoy sharing any information and insights I can offer to those not able to be here as much as we are or those that are heading down soon. The stew was good! And as I said, it's by far the largest portion at Food & Wine I have seen yet.

    Water cup change??

What we do even before moving here was to purchase a Camelback or Lifestraw water bottle. These bottles have filters on them and even make this awful Orlando tap water very drinkable. These bottles run about $20.00 at any sporting good type stores. There are locations throughout each park that...

My 2016 Food & Wine Festival Thread

Thank you. We'll be heading back on Wednesday so I'll be sure to post up more pictures including the AP gift of this year which is a glass cup instead of wine glasses.

My 2016 Food & Wine Festival Thread

After the rains rolled through Orlando yesterday, we headed over to EPCOT for some more Food & Wine fun. Stopped in at Canada, Scotland, Ireland & France last evening. Crowded for a Tuesday evening to be honest. But I think it had more to do with the weather clearing, MNSSHP and EPCOT on EMH...

    Illuminations Fallout

Probably about three or fours ago we were watching Illuminations next to the Rose & Crown Pub and a piece of an actual shell landed in my hair. No joke! It was big enough for the CM that stands there to see and everyone reacting drew attention to it. It didn't hurt or burn me or anything like...

    Latest Trip to Via Naploi

HA! We took our honey moon there as well! Love that area!

    Latest Trip to Via Naploi

I know those places. It's been a year since I have been to the Northeast but 11 Madison is definitely on the list when we return to that area of the country. It's funny ... We get to Napa more than we do any other places on the East Coast. Really enjoy that area.

    Cancelled fireworks

We had another decent lightning storm come through about an hour or so ago again this evening. I would assume the shows were postponed again tonight as well. It let up about 15-20 minutes ago her in Dr. Phillips, which we are about 5 miles from property.

    Disney Does It Again

Awesome! So glad to hear you had a great time at Disney! It's your vacation and you should be able to look at it as such. It' better than a day at [insert what you do for a living here] that's for sure. Always nice to see people post good things about their trips instead of focusing on any...

    What's your favorite appetizers?

This is a tough one :) We have a lot of favourite starters around property. Shrimp & Grits at the Brown Derby Lounge Kimchi at Morimoto's Cheese Plate at the Tune in Lounge Galilee Osetra Caviar at Victoria & Albert's Bread service at Sanaa Wild Boar Tenderloin at Jiko Scallops at The Wave I...

    Latest Trip to Via Naploi

Everyone has their own opinions in which none are wrong or right, and I of course respect everyone's opinions. Nothing at Disney would I ever classify as "the best [insert food type here] I have ever had". That title is reserved for French Laundry in Yountville, CA. (Napa Valley) By far the best...

I'm sure they do unfortunately. And I agree 100% on everyone should visit and decide for their selves. Or at least, I hope they do/would.

My 2016 Food & Wine Festival Thread

Yup! My wife is from South Korea and got me into Korean BBQ and food in general, for obvious reasons. One of my favourite foods now though!!

    Latest Trip to Via Naploi

There's that :) Like I said, at times nothing or no place is going to be at anyone's expectation (no matter their percentage) My expectations for Disney are what they are for visiting as much as we do, and at times, I am disappointed as well. Restaurants and meals are funny things to everyone...

That makes sense. Especially on the cost side :) Though I thought Bulgogi actually translated to "fire meat" in Korean. Bul = fire and Gogi = meat

    Latest Trip to Via Naploi

Hey, it happens. We've been to several restaurants both on Disney property and just out and about Orlando, where the service and food was "sub-par" to us. We still dine at those same restaurants as it was one out of 10 visits. At times I think people visiting Disney have their hopes so far up...

My 2016 Food & Wine Festival Thread

Yes it is. It was very good and like I said ... Very similar to our favourite Korean BBQ restaurant here in Orlando. The short ribs were very good last year as well! And to me, the offering in this style you seem to get more than last year. I could be wrong and maybe it's just the...
