Yes I enjoy their podcast. I like hearing about some of the behind the scenes stuff. I've had drinks with Carissa in Epcot and always stop and talk to John at race weekends.

Per Entertainment Director Mark Ferrera on the 321 Go Podcast (hosted by John and Carissa) they choose themes well over a year out.

I said they were going back to food related things.

This would be a no no, walking that is. They didn’t even like people near the contemporary during the marathon even tho runDisney listed it as a spectating spot. Security was all over certain places in January.

Just make note of the road closures listed in the event guide. You may have to leave earlier than you want to depending on things.

Actually you can if you have a car. People who are spectating at MK are allowed to park for such.

Your two options are the one above or Uber/lyft/minnie van.

Monorail will be running on half morning as it’s the only way for people to get to Epcot from MK resorts for the race. If not staying at an MK resort your best bet is race bus to Epcot then monorail to MK.

I would assume fairly similar. I think the “longer” sellout times were mostly due to time of year and less of a rush to be “first” when it came to the return of runDisney.

2025 will be the 4th Springtime so we have one more year until anniversary for that one.

We should see themes by the end of this month. It is usually about a week before Club runDisney registration and two weeks out from general.

No boats do not run pre race. You would have to uber or Lyft. At that point tho personally you might as well just uber to the race and then take the monorail back after. The monorail is also only used for the half. It is not used for the 5K or 10K.

The character mix seems weird. I’ll give it a go tho.

I don’t think it’s even just Disney but many of the “fans” too. They expect everything to be this huge new e ticket style ride/attraction. Not everything needs to or should be that.

Yeah the Coast to Coast one is not good quality. Even the display one at the expo was pretty beat up.

It was constructive criticism. I really enjoyed many aspects. There were just many things that need improvement from pre race security, expo, on course characters and things like where water stops are located. I would run this weekend again.

It’s not supposed to be a thing people use. However they will have bibs onsite if people weren’t able to make the expo due to travel emergencies and such. You will need your ID and stuff to pick up that morning. Again, unadvertised because they don’t want people to abuse it.
