Park ops still gets a say in things. Park may be closed but the park still has to function. From parking, maintenance, etc.

After party mostly because it's included in challenge and half and the halloween party hasn't changed in years.

It appears parks stuff will be sprinkled in other panels. I am just seeing a lot of stuff on socials about people being outraged over no major panel. That's not what this event is about.

I am amazed by the people who are so surprised there is no specific parks panel. This isn't D23 Expo. It's never been a place for major announcements. Sure we get a couple but it's not a huge thing like Expo. Usually they do more niche things which is exactly what they announced.

I don't expect the others to sell out quickly. 10-Miler sometimes doesn't sell out at all.

I am hoping for the ribbon as well.

30 min in and nothing has sold out. I don't expect things to go quickly. Springtime never has.

My guess is that is what they would do. Put whatever the long term plan is behind that new courtyard tree area further back.

If you look at the image it appears to be a wider opening. It's like the widening of the hub at MK or stuff like that. Allows for easier guest flow.

Whatever the long term goal is likely would've gotten rid of the arch too. This will help flow into that area. If you eventually build a full land there you will need easy access. The arch hinders that.

My criticism via video is lack of or lack of actual performers on foot. I know they did away with a lot of that for Festival of Fantasy as well. People walking with light sticks doesn't quite do it for me. That said, the floats look great.

They have been weird with anniversaries lately. I don't understand it.

I actually think they are reverting back a bit. The more recent ones have been a bit simpler compared to the last couple years. I really like these.
