It'd be so satisfying to have a new non-trackless dark ride in the parks. I know the Encanto ride won't be trackless, but still.

I feel like it's probably a combination of the obsession with Single IP lands (thanks, Wizarding World!) and the obsession with making all of their attractions high-tech because that impresses people. Trackless rides are more high-tech, ergo they're automatically better, I guess? Plus...

I don't see why people keep claiming that the Magic Kingdom has the inferior version of everything.

But Moana isn't about, or focused on, animals. Most of the film takes place sailing the ocean. It doesn't even have a (minor) character who loves animals like Encanto does.

I'm pretty sure they actually closed the Sing-Along at California Adventure because they decided to put a Frozen show in the Hyperion Theater and knew it'd be redundant to have two Frozen shows in the same park. Where would they be getting this data? Was there a busbar dark ride built before...

Or maybe focus more on actual expansion instead of replacements, so capacity for the parks doesn't go down for years while they build things at the pace of a turtle?

Could we please stop suggesting that they put Moana in Animal Kingdom? It'd work perfectly fine in Adventureland.

I will acknowledge that Iger's Disney has built good attractions, but since Galaxy's Edge opened it feels (to me at least) like they've built more bad attractions than good ones. I don't think fancy special effects automatically make for a good attraction. I'll take Peter Pan's Flight over the...

I'm not defending Iger, I'm defending Walt. Maybe he wasn't, but A) I'm sure Seth MacFarlane isn't either and B) the "anti-semitic" claims have been disproven. "It's the nature of the show" doesn't mean we have to like it. You shouldn't make a show solely so you can take mean-spirited potshots...

Bold of you to assume that this Indiana Jones ride will be on par with the one built by pre-Iger Disney in the 1990s (y'know, not the same company that gave us Remy's Crapatouille Adventure and Mama Odie's Magical Salt Dome). Some of us just like cool dinosaurs. It's as simple as that.

It's almost like maybe doing a Villains' Land isn't such a good idea after all?
