REally?? I have been looking up calendars and researching last week of August crowds and the numbers are LOW....like 3...Also I have been gone every year the 3rd week of August and the crowds are sooo manageable..so I would think the last week would dwindle even more:shrug:

WE usually go the 3rd week of August,when free dining usually starts, but since it starts a few days later this year, we are going the week before Labor Day. How are the crowds the week of the 25th/26th? Hoping its just as manageable as the 3rd week of August! Thanks for the help!

I will take the heat over the crowds ANYTiME! We ususally go the last week of August and the heat is sooooo hot but without the crazy crowds, it is so much nicer!

Wouldn't it be fun to all meet up at the Wilderness Lodge??? We could have a drink at the pool!!! LOL I am sooo excited to hear how wonderful the crowds will be. We always go the last week of August and love it then, but we are 99% sure we are going this week in Sept this year to do the MNSSHP...

WDW wins for a vacation experience....the resorts and the travel to and from the different parks, DTD, other resorts, etc. It just feels more vacation-y to me. The castle wins hands down at WDW...the first time I walked down DL Main Street was so strange to see the "short" castle. DL's...

We just got back last week from 8 days at the Wilderness Lodge and we got a free upgrade without requesting it. We paid for a standard room and were upgraded to a woods view. When I made the reservations (after much research about the rooms) I requested what I didn't want for a standard room...

Didn't even think about a cab...probably because I never saw one! LOL...That would have made a lot a sense...I am not complaining though...our vacation was wonderful and the Lodge great! Now I just know more for next trip and how to plan our meals and for sure catch a cab when going to a farther...
