The attraction is debuting in October. It gives Disney a chance to market it as a 45th anniversary attraction for Magic Kingdom does it not?

If the rocks are painted purple, a metallic texture would be added to them also?

Well Currently the Walt Disney World President (George Kalogridis) was the former Disneyland President. Maybe he will change the way anniversaries are held in Walt Disney World. I heard that he sent Disney Hollywood Studios Vice President on a trip to Disneyland to see how the park is run and ect.

Not sure if Magic Kingdom would give Wishes a tag, though Epcot had a tag with Illuminations though.

There wasn't a tag but they did perimeter fireworks with the show.

If thats the case, Walt Disney World's 50th is doomed...

Magic Kingdom will probably (maybe) give out cupcakes and on the birthday pins write Happy Birthday Walt Disney World. Maybe a small character parade of 45 characters and that may be it.

I was in the parks recently and when I went to speak to castmembers, a few would ask if I would be coming in October for the 45th. Seems they have something planned or they are just having some small events such as you said.

Only difference is that they are hyping this up unlike how they did with the 40th or the other small anniversaries.

At this point, they might as well just claim that the castle stage show was made for the 45th Anniversary. Atleast the merchandise is actually really nice.

A little of topic, but if Epcot does completely gut out Ellen's Energy Adventure for Guardians of the Galaxy, wouldn't you think they would reuse the Dinosaurs from the ride in Animal Kingdom or construct a primeval world on the railroad in Magic Kingdom like at Disneyland with those animatronics.
