    The roaches

Everytime I see a Palmetto bug, I tell our husband we're moving back to NH!! We had bugs up North (the worst was tick season), but never the size of what I find here! :hurl:

Adults who got to go when they were children v. those who didn't...

I used to BEG my parents to take me to WDW. I was always met with a resounding "NO!". They both thought it was a waste of money. I used to LIVE for the Disney Channel. I watched everything I could on WDW and my absolute favorite show was WDW Insideout (I think it was called?). My brother...

So, How's the Weather Down There?

Oops, I'll post under this one. Orlando may be nice right now, but Jax is under ANOTHER tornado warning until 7pm. I'm watching that yucky weather creep closer and closer to us on the doppler. Yuck!

Move to Florida because of Disney

We kinda moved to Florida for WDW. I wanted to get out of the snowy northeast and wanted to be closer to WDW, so hubby kept his eye on the job market. When he got a job offer from a company in Jacksonville, FL, we jumped on it. And, here we are!

Disney PhD family trip (with Friends) 2005

Hubby and I had a bear with our strollers. We don't have a tandem stroller, so we took one umbrella one for our toddler and our Graco one for the infant. Boy was THAT a mistake! Hubby and I were constantly separated by the mobs of people. And the stories of the mad stroller mamas were true...

Disney PhD family trip (with Friends) 2005

Great report! I love hearing how other mothers with young children do in WDW. I was nursing my four month old too. I really liked the baby care station with the nursing room. There were about four of us in there chatting away like we'd known each other for years.

    Woohoo! Just had to share...

We like it! It's very different though. I now live in Jacksonville, so I'm not used the busy streets and sky. Of course, I've only been here three weeks, so I need to get passed the honeymoon period and really settle in. Ask me once the first hurricane hits. ;) However, I just left the...

    Woohoo! Just had to share...

Last Saturday, my 4 month old son woke me up at 5am. After getting him back to sleep, I went back to bed and then I got it....the Walt Disney World fever. We've just moved to Jacksonville from NH and WDW is now only 2 hours away as opposed to 1500 miles away. I was psyched! I pounced on my...

    your disney obsession??

I love the sounds of WDW, esp at the Wilderness Lodge Resort. I remember sitting on our balcony, sipping coffee, closing my eyes and enjoying the sound of the water fall and the families chattering happily as they were getting ready to go to the parks. Bliss... :)

We're in the White Mountains of NH and getting dumped on. Snow. Bah! Humbug!! :hurl: Oh, and I forgot to mention that it's been in the subzero temps lately. A couple of days ago it was -25F in real temp! (windchill was even worse) Just three more weeks and we move to...
