Success! Ticket arrived yesterday at noon and at 4:01 I entered the park. I got super nervous when the turnstile took a while to OK the RFID card but then it went green and I was in! My legs are now very tired. Longest I waited was 20min for the haunted mansion early in the evening. Mine...

no dice on the same-day ticket sales at the gate :( and the agent on the phone said it literally sold out a couple days ago. I JUST MISSED IT!!! so sad. so very, very sad :(

I know... especially since they just wrote back and told me that they want me to pay for the tickets by buying a cash card (like a Vanilla card), load it with $50, then text them the #s on the card... essentially no protection at all for me. knew it was too good to be true.... :(

I found someone on craigslist that has tickets for sale, but I am wary of counterfeits....

I am down in Orlando for a conference until Friday afternoon, and up until just now I didn't think I could make it over to MK, but then I remembered the MVMCP! Unfortunately, it's totally sold out... SO - is there any chance I could find my way into the MK on thursday night? How would I go...

we already worked that one out fortunately... but now I'm second guessing my original plan of a May/September trip. MNSSHP was such a cool part of the trip, and the lines were so awesomely short, that I may opt to have one go first in 2016, then the other go in 2017... that might be a harder sell.

what's the point of buying a special edition band? I'm guessing most folks will only have it for the duration of their trip, then it becomes useless, right? Even if you're an AP holder the best you'll get out of it is a year maybe or even shorter depending on the battery in there?

That was definitely a Beverly face ;-) I'm wracking my brain over when to bring the twins, but I think I settled on a plan. One will go in May, the other will go in September/October in two years when they turn 9. I'm hoping that at some point they sort of forget that their big sister went...

just ask them to cook the pizzas well - we were there two weeks ago and they were a bit underdone for my liking... still very tasty!

I have three kids - an older daughter (9) and twins (7). A few years back I started thinking about how much fun it would be to take each of them separately for some dad/daughter quality time down at WDW. I figure that in a few years from now they'll hit the dreaded teen years when they want...

I hope that somewhere in the near future they allow you to book your 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. fastpass once your initial 3 are used up. The lines at the kiosks are almost as long as the lines for the rides! either that, or setup more kiosks.

Our first meal at WDW last week was lunch at the Whispering Canyon restaurant in the Wilderness Lodge. Our waiter was Jeff (Jeffro) and his "daughter" Jenny (AKA Sunshine) provided the entertainment. They were awesome. Jenny brought over every kind of milkshake that they make for my daughter...
