News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Construction on Coco was going to break ground in 2026. if there is no announcement at Destination D23 2025, then its fate is sealed.

    Parks Predictions Thread

info will leak out this year on what from the first half of the ten years parks plan will get cut due to the ongoing economic situation. Here's hoping i'm wrong though.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

Disney knows the parks are more important than the cruise line. if they ax those ships and redirect the funds to the parks as a cushion, thats probably fine by most of us here.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I think if any major projects got cut like say Coco or the second Cars attraction, rumors or info will leak out. We shall see what happens. How long do you think it will be before Disney takes the ax to projects?

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Thankfully they will be tried in court and hopefully shot down. Then come 2027 if Dems retake the house and expand the senate even slightly, they can cancel out the tariffs If trump defies the court. As for Avatar, James Cameron will put his foot down to make sure it gets built.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

IDK, but considering what they promised with the 10 years parks plan, Disney will have some explaining to do at D23 2026 and D23 2028.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I mean if Disney did ax things I think rumors will trickle out. we shall see. Will be considering how much the economy will go in the toilet. Heck some in the GOP think they might be locked out of power for decades to come...

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I mean Universal does it. They could have easily canned EU at the start of the pandemic or budget cut the hell out of it but they didn't. And they supposedly have a lineup of things planned for the other parks post Epic.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

Avatar at DCA will happen as well but that's because James Cameron would push to make sure it does. I'm more curious what will happen to the second half of the 10 years parks plan that I expected to be announced at D23 2028. By 2029 there could be a new administration in the White House that...

Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

I think Simba would be addressed first since they are building the EGW, which will more than make up for the spots they will lose when they expand DCA into it. Based on the amount Disney agreed with the City of Anaheim to invest in DLR by 2034, I think the first phase of the Simba buildout will...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

Ah. No biggie. They can design lands in Simba that can completely block out the power lines.

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

I talked to someone recently who thinks the power lines that run behind DCA and into the Simba lot are Disney property and could be buried underground by the time they buildout into Simba. Is this true?

Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

They made quick work of doing it to. Fiege is probably pushing them behind the scenes to get this up ASAP, meaning 2027 to cross promote with Secret Wars.

To me long term the animation building will go for something Avengers Campus.

DHS What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

Some food for though: If Disney is really going to announce an animation courtyard replacement either during the week of EU debuting or at DD23 2025, it's going to be for an existing IP and not something up and coming. If Zootopia has already been ruled out, in my mind the IP for AC will be...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

The arena probably isn't going to be there forever. Down the line I bet Disney is eyeing it for some sort of Avengers Campus expansion exclusive to Paris.

Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

I'm pretty sure the ride scenes will tack on a couple of additional days or so to the shooting schedule. I'm just hoping they get this up for 2027.

Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

Though so. Hopefully we see part of the structure go vertical this year.

Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

The trolley barn is outright getting torn down. So what I assume you mean by adjusting the access points is for the construction workers.
