Ironically, the Monsters ride in Tokyo is in Tomorrowland so they could have built Door Coaster there (maybe in place of Speedway) but there’s still time to move Star Tours there.

It looked red in the first Blog Mickey update: Kinda bizarre mystery. Blue is usually used to blend into sky but that’s for permanent stuff like the giant GoTG show building. Paint is relatively cheap but why waste it for something coming down soon?

I think you are still discounting the fact that it’s the lowest capacity ride in a park with very few rides. The other rides with less wait times have higher capacity. It’s also 1 of 2 rides in the entire park with no height restriction at all which impacts not only families with little kids...
