WOW so Disney changed the game and they're not refunding money but giving you gift cards instead? Doesn't make them the company where dreams come true, does it? This is very disappointing.

Okay, thanks. As I posted previously, when we were at WDW last Nov, it rained - a lot - so many rides were walk ons. I didn't remember using Genie(not+) but my husband just told me I did, lol. Hoping my brain is not atrophying like the rest of me is!

Nothing will ever totally stop the abuse because there are people who will figure a way around the rules. That's just their nature.

I'm not talking about Genie+ just regular Genie.

Can you explain why some are so upset about people with DAS doing that using DAS in place of Genie? I'm really not clear on this - not being facetious.

If an able bodied person has a Genie reservation time an hour away, can they ride something with a short standby line or do they have to wait until they've ridden the Genie reserved ride?
