    Zika Impact

Because of the devastating effect that the Zika virus can have on a newborn child and the fact that WDW is a frequent destination for those who are of child-bearing age (not to mention South Americans who are known carriers of the virus).

    Zika Impact

Let's not give the scooter people any ideas. There are enough of those things at WDW as it is.:)

    Zika Impact

Are you not familiar with how Zika spreads? Orlando mosquito bites South American carrier. Orlando mosquito bites you and now you become a carrier. It is estimated that in Brazil alone, 1.5 million people have contracted Zika. You have much greater chance of being infected by the Zika virus...

    Zika Impact

But not the South Americans who vacationers are exposed to while at WDW? I would think they would be likely carriers.

    Zika Impact

You mean like the South Americans who frequent WDW?

    Zika Impact

So are you saying that pregnant women and those of child-bearing age should take a risk of being infected with Zika, however minimal, just for the sake of a vacation?

    Zika Impact

This is going to have a huge impact on tourism in Florida, in particular the theme parks, if a remedy is not found soon. This epidemic will eliminate a majority of those who are of child-bearing age (aka: families with young children) from vacationing in or near these infected areas.

    What a ridiculous post.

Whats something you love about WDW that many people don't like?

Does planning the trip to WDW count? I really enjoy it and love researching the hotels, rides, restaurants, etc...

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

Genuinely autistic = Autism Hippie's kid Questionably autistic = Einstein, Mozart, Thomas Jefferson, Bill Gates, Dan Akroyd, etc.. People who have visual disabilities (i.e. elderly, mentally retarded, down syndrome, genuinely autistic, etc..) would get the GAC and the invisibly disabled would...

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

Believe me, it will be less of a gray area than how they determine who receives a DAS now. Have you ever seen a genuinely autistic person? You can spot them a mile away.

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

No you can't because those children who are genuinely autistic can no longer visit Disney, period! I do not have a child or a relative who is autistic but the genuinely autistic need instant and unlimited access; it is just they way these kids are programmed. By Disney kowtowing to the GAC...

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

It won't be problematic if Disney goes back to how they distributed these special access passes in the beginning. You see someone who is genuinely disabled, you give them a GAC. You see someone who is milking the system, I mean who has an invisible disability, you give them a DAS. You can...

    The Town Center construction

If this concept was Disney's attempt to draw the local drunks away from WS, it is a big fat FAIL!! Unfortunately, it appears that us vacationing patrons are stuck with the non-vacationing patrons ruining our experience at WS until Disney prices them out through the continued increase in...

    Rude guests (rant sorry)

The problem with our tax system is that in many cases it pays back more than what people are putting in which in turn leads to a windfall at tax time that people are using to pay for Disney vacations. This influx of cash is what has led to the massive crowds at Disney so if you take away the...

What Was So Bad About Tiki Room "Under New Management"?

Well, you have to admit, it was a nice place to take a break and cool off even though it was corny.

    Rude guests (rant sorry)

Does anyone ever ask themselves how some of these uncouth patrons can afford a $4,000 to $10,000 Disney vacation? All I have to say is that if this country ever moves away from the instant payout that occurs each tax season, Disney is going to be in trouble (and we will start to enjoy our...

Oh boy, this ought to be fun.

    Sounds & Smells

The smell of stale beer and urine brings back memories of our one and only visit to F&W. Incredible that Disney allows one of their parks to become the equivalent of Bourbon Street.

Should we just drive? (from ohio)

It really doesn't make sense to drive when it is that far, does it? By driving you have to pay for 2 nights hotel stay ($200) another $150 for food for the trip and another $150 for gas (not to mention the wear and tear on your car). So it cost you an extra $200 to $250 to fly. Not worth...
